Today is the best day of the year. The real fun doesn't start till dusk, but I'll make a list of what to do till then.
1) Eat hotdogs and burgers (any other food has to be red, white, and/or blue)
2) Tell the redcoats to fuck off
3) Throw tea bags at Britain then through them in a harbor
4) Swim
5) Harass Britain
6) Watch fireworks
Yeah that sounds like a plan.
I took five tea bags from Britain's stash and snuck out the door.
Oh no, he was on the porch.
"Have something there, son?"
"Noooo."
"Open your hands."
"You aren't my dad."
"Yes I am. Open your hands."
"Fuck off redcoat!"
I threw a tea bag at him, then I bolted to the local river a couple of blocks away and threw the tea bags in. I remembered the first time I did this and Britain threatened to kill me for dumping British tea in the harbor. Aah the good ol' days.
Hey, maybe I can take a quick dip here.
I took off my shirt and jumped in the river below making a splash.
How is the water still hot?? Oh well.
I swam till my fingers started to prune. Should've brought a towel, but I didn't know I'd swim here.
Hotdogs are so good, but they're basically made out of mystery meat.
Yes.
Finally dusk. I climbed up a tall tree in a large clearing. I watched the sky light up as the colorful fireworks exploded in celebration of my people's freedom and independence.
This is amazing
Happy Independence Day! This holiday is the best for so many reasons.
