Chapter 14

Evie POV

"Lady Mal, we found your spell book below deck. Uma had it." A servant said handing Mal's spell book to her. "Ooh." Mal said looking at the book in her hands. I looked between Ben and Mal. "You know, this seems like the kind of thing that belongs in the hands of Fairy Godmother. Fairy Godmother." Mal stated. "Okay. That's me. Thank you. Mmm-hmm." Fairy Godmother voiced making her way to us. "This belongs in a museum." Mal told her. "It does, yes. And I'm gonna take it." FG replied. "Go for it." Mal answered. "Okay." FG said before walking away. "I'm not gonna be needing it anymore." Mal told Ben. Ben smiled afterwards before Mal splashed him with water. Everyone gasped as Ben backed away to avoid the water. Mal laughed happily before Ben splashed her and made her squeal. I watched as Mal stood in front of Ben, grabbed his crown making it crooked on his head. Ben and Mal held hands before looking at the rest of us.

Ben:

Everyone looked to Ben and Mal at the top of the steps before bowing to them. Ben and Mal waved to us before I looked to Haden. Everyone started to dance around in the leftover water on the boat as I held Haden close to me watching on. I put my head on his chest as he rested his chin on my soaking blue hair. "Whatever happened to your pen?" I asked him. "Oh! It's right here." Haden said digging into his pocket and pulling the silver pen showing it to me. "But I thought it went into the water?" I questioned. "It did. But Percy told me that it was spelled with magic by Zeus, so it returns back to the owner's pockets after a short while." Haden explained putting it back in his pocket before the two of us were splashed with water by Carlos, Jay, Jane, Lonnie, and Doug. The flames of Haden's hair went out. I shook my head having water spray everywhere. Haden ran a hand through his hair and reignited it before looking over at Carlos and Jay. He laughed wagging his finger at them with a smile. "You two are gonna regret that." Haden told them before pulling away from me to chase the two VKs around the boat. I laughed watching the two boys evade Haden through the crowd as all three laughed. I shook my head and smiled. "You can take the VK out of the Isle, but you can't take the Isle out the VK." I said quoting Haden from last year.
