Once school was over, Desmond slipped on his invisibility cloak. He quietly followed until they all gathered in the dance hall. "This is where they were yesterday too," He whispered to himself.

"Did... did you guys hear that?" Amber questioned. The other princesses, however, heard nothing. "I must be going crazy, then..." She told herself as she stepped onto her corresponding tile, holding her book.

Desmond witnessed as the tiles lit up and the floor began to open. He began to take a step closer in order to get a better look. He accidently stepped on the skirt of Amber's dress, who automatically sat her book down to investigate. However, nothing seemed to be there. "Amber? What are you waiting for? Come on!" Hildegard said. Amber turned back around and started making her way down the stairway. Desmond noticed Amber left her handbook lying on the floor. He picked it up and began to follow the princesses.

Reaching the bottom, he was just as shocked as the princesses were the first night. He watched in awe as the twelve princesses danced and giggled. It was as if they were having the time of their lives. It was no wonder that they kept coming back here each night.

Around eleven p.m. in the magical world, Amber walked up to Sofia, who was gracefully dancing. "Sofia, I'm so tired. I've barely gotten any sleep the past few nights, my dancing slippers are ruined, and I haven't had time to go to the royal cobbler to get new ones," Amber said. Sofia paused in thought. Maybe Amber was right. Were they really spending too much time here? They've also gotten to dance to almost every style. "You know what I wish for, Sofia? A dance partner! I wish I had a prince to dance with. We've all been dancing on our own, but I haven't once gotten to waltz."

All of a sudden, sparkles began to show up on Prince Desmond's cloak. It then flew off, revealing him hidden underneath. The princesses all gasped. They began to wonder if the pavilion made a fake Desmond or if the real one actually showed up. "Desmond? Is that really you?" Amber asked.

Desmond began to blush and answered that it was really him. "By the way, you left this behind," He shyly added, handing Amber her Royal Prep Handbook.

Amber automatically smiled, taking the book from his hands. "It has a peridot on it. It really is my handbook! Thank you!" She replied. Clio came up between the two, stating how there was just one thing left. Desmond questioned what that was. "That's right, I wished for a dance partner." Amber realized.

Desmond hesitated and began to stutter. "Oh, ummm, in-in that case. Well, would-would you like to-to ummm. Would you like to dance, Princess Amber?"

As if to answer his question, Amber took his hand and guided him straight to the middle of the dance floor. "It's so romantic!" Clio happily cried as she watched the two dance. Once their dance was over and they both did a curtsy and a bow, Amber sighed stating how she was still upset how worn-through her shoes had become.

Holding up her skirt to look down at her shoes, Sofia added, "Me too..." Desmond asked if they could just wish for them to be fixed. "I never thought of that. Wow, Desmond! One night down here and you already fixed the one problem we couldn't figure out," Sofia said in appreciation. The twelve princesses then wished for their shoes to be restored.
