No End

I smiled for the world,
Buried my emotions
Swallowed the tears back that quite often  threatened me.

The dark evil came to me everyday
It embraced me like a friend
It was no friend, I knew
I had no escape, I knew

I wanted to live but
The smile, I lost did I want again
The heart to beat, is what I want again
I went in search of some hope

The darkness suffocated me,
As I started building some hope
It wanted to swollow me
I was scared, I was lost again

It felt like an end
An end I waited for this time
I lost strength in my feet
I lost strength in my mind

I wanted the pain to end
A small light did I see then
With tears, I walked up to it
It was the end, I thought
Little did I know
The end was just the new beginning
