The Lost Star

The days were dark, but you did make it brighter,
The sky was cloudy but you did make it clear the path,
The comfort of you being there, was the only comfort that it had,

The star that was fading into the infinite sky, was found by you,
You gave your guiding light and your magic dust,
Protected it from the shadowing darkness, only to make it shine bright like now,

They say it's destiny that aligns them together,
If it was true, I believe that it was destiny that brought you to me,

The lonely star was never lonely did you make it understand,
You were meant to stay did it understand.
