Spring day

The birds were chirping,
It was the beginning of spring,
My feet felt strong on the ground,
as the snow just cleared its way,

The winter was over,
The sun shined bright again,
Making the dewdrops on the grass shine like a thousand diamonds,

The world felt new,
Like the first day of life again,
The soft wind ruffled my hair,
Bringing a smile that only it could bring,

The mighty sky was clear,
Just like my mind, and soul,
Flowing in peace and serenity,

The tree was ready to drop it's first leaf,
A new beginning for it, just like everything.
Life goes on, it taught me
I took those words and walked ahead,
Drowning in the contentment only a spring day could bring.

I know I don't post anything nowadys. I'm really sorry for that. I am really busy with my college work, but I promise you guys, something new and exciting is on the way. 😎
I will soon give you'll an update on that.
