"You don't have to go to work, I sent someone to relieve you for a few days and your boss agreed," she said while eating her pancakes leaving trails of maple syrup on her face. Yongsun was smiling at how childish this girl could be, then suddenly a man walked up towards the dining table they are sitting at

"Princess!" a booming voice with a cheerful tone suddenly filled the room, Moonbyul gave him a maple syrup-filled smile

"Appa!" she stood up and hugged the person she called the father

"Congratulations on the acquisition yesterday princess," her father said while sitting down and being served with coffee by his personal butler

"Oh! I see we have a visitor" her father said cheerfully looking at Yongsun

"She's Yongsun appa, I'm glad you could see each other, she's the one I told you yesterday" the man immediately looked at Yongsun intensely, surprised that he finds the girl beautiful

"Now I know why you insist on that, she's very beautiful" Yongsun looked at the father and daughter duo wondering what are they talking about

Flashback

"Appa! I want something!" the girl sluggishly making her way to her father clearly wanting some attention

"What is it my princess?" said the man who is now cradling her daughter on his lap

"I want to marry someone" she revealed

"Already? So who is this lucky person?" Mr. Moon is so excited about who is the girl that her daughter wants to marry

"She's Yongsun, she is the prettiest girl I've ever seen Appa, I don't want anyone to have her other than me, please make a marriage contract and I'll have her sign it and you can just register it wherever it is legal," she said in one breath

"It's like Sandeul all over again huh!" her father chuckled

"Ok I'll call my people and let's see what I can do," he said to his daughter who is now smiling brightly, how he wishes that smile never fades on that face

He looked at Yongsun and notice that something is wrong with the girl

"Are you okay?" He asked the sick girl

"I'm fine sir thank you," Yongsun said shyly

"You can call me Appa" the girl suddenly choke on the juice she is drinking, Moonbyul suddenly stood up from her seat and went over Yongsun to rub her back while she's on a coughing fit

"You already look like a married couple, I can still remember when your mother still lives in the mansion, how she took care of my every need, the man reminisced

"Why where is your mom?" Yongsun asked

"She lives in Japan, we have a few businesses that need special attention that's why she had to move there. Appa and I always visit her whenever we want so it's no big deal since she's also busy every day" she explained

"I already told your Omma about what you told me and she is excited to meet Yongsun" the man beamed at the two girls

"Why don't we go there the day after tomorrow since its the weekend, I hope it's okay with you Yongsun?" Mr. Moon said with enthusiasm, the cafe girl can't seem to find her voice because she is overwhelmed with a lot of things happening around her

"I'm sorry sir"

"Appa" the man interrupted

"A-appa, I don't know what's happening and I'm just here because I'm sick and Moonbyul here don't want me to go," she said while looking at the reaction of the other girl

"I'll talk to her about it Appa, don't worry," Moonbyul said

"Okay, but it would be nice if you could join us, we will take you to places that we like very much" he smiled while eating his breakfast, the three of them continued chatting while eating and then the two girls went back to Moonbyul's bedroom

"Yongsun, I'm sorry about my father I didn't know that he will ask you but we can't go either way because you need to rest until the weekend" Yongsun softened her look at the other girl, she has been awkward by the way she treated the girl the night before but she has been nothing but an angel. She might have a crazy proposal but she knew that Moonbyul is a good girl through and through by the way she interacted with her father.

"It's okay Moonbyul, I'm the one who should apologize by the way I talked last night, I will think about it but not now," she said honestly

"I'm not the kind of person who waits for long Yongsun but I'll give you until next week to think about it and within this time, I think it's only right that you stay with me to get to know me more," she said seriously, Yongsun is worried that during that time she has no work and she doesn't have any money to get her sister's medicine that's why she is hesitating, Moonbyul seem to notice that the girl in front of her thinking deeply

"You don't have to worry about your sister Yongsun, I already took care of it, as of now she is being tested in the hospital and I sent people to take care of your only family" while Moonbyul is telling Yongsun this the other girl is in pure shock, her eyes are already watering and all she did was hug Moonbyul tightly, extremely grateful that she doesn't have to worry about it

"Yongsun" the girl is still holding Moonbyul

"Mmmm?" she mumbled

"Can't you just marry me without reasons?" Yongsun let go and looked at the other girl's eyes, she can feel the sincerity and somewhat longing look in those eyes

"Why do you like me so much?" she asked

"I never had this feeling before for a person, I think I'm getting obsessed with you"

Yongsun has known the darkness for too long, since their parents died she and her sister were struggling so much. They worked so hard to at least have a roof on their heads and have food on their table, they didn't need much in life until Yongsun sister met a guy who became her husband. They have a promising future when the husband came, they have someone who can help them earn money, Yongsun is starting to save some money to start a small Tteokbokki business which she knows she really likes and will definitely be loved by customers. But that dream was shattered when her sister started to get sick, their money is enough again for paying rent and having food on the table but the medicines are getting so expensive, his brother in law is having a hard time to sustain their needs so she started to help them because she didn't want her sister to miss her meds. She started to look for a job who can pay big money so she can pay for the medicines and stumbled upon a girl who works in the club and dropped by their cafe, she saw the girl having a lot of cash despite looking somewhat far from the decent side. The girl noticed that Yongsun is looking so she talked to her

"You want to earn this kind of money?" the girl showed Yongsun the wad of money rolled in her hands, although Yongsun was taken aback she just nods her head

"We need beautiful girls like you in this club" she hand over the match with the sign of the club

"If you want to earn just look for me and I'll hook you up with my boss," she said as she walks away with her drink

"By the way I'm Hyuna" she waved as she exited the door. That night she went to the bar and looked for the girl and as she saw her, she was introduced to Jin and started the gig immediately. For the first week, a lot of customers was smitten by the new girl, the patrons always get Yongsun since she looks pure and very beautiful. It went by smoothly, guys buying her drinks but one night a guy offered her large money for one night outside the club. She is nervous but she agreed, it was her first time and the guy was so turned on that she gave her another large amount before leaving her in the hotel.

She realized that this is the only way she knew she can earn a large amount of money so she keeps this as a secret from her sister because she knew she will be guilty and might not get the money from her anymore. She continued this for a few days until she encountered a guy who abused her, she thought this will only happen once but it turns out it happened again the next day. And now this, a marriage proposal from a girl, who not only saved her but apparently obsessed with her, she didn't know if this is a normal behavior of Moonbyul but she doesn't feel good with diving to this kind of contract, she just hopes that she isn't wrong about her.
