"That was him! Do you know that guy?"

"Shine..." he finally spoke up. The sound of his voice. God. I miss it.

"Lege." I don't know what to respond. All I know is that he's here. In front of me. Staring at me.

"Oh my God." Irene whispered again."Ahm Shine?"

Napalingon naman ako sa kanya.

"Mauna na ako sa car ha." then by that, she ran away as if she already knew that Lege and I have to talk alone.

"It has been three years." he bitterly smiled. Though he was smiling, kilalang kilala ko pa rin siya. I know the sadness trying to escape those smiles. "And you're still the same."

I stayed up frozen in my position. Ayokong simulang magsalita because I know that if I do, I can't stop. I might go to the point where in I would break down and cry because of the painful memories we have together. Those painful memories that are still alive.

"I'm sorry." he looked down, waiting for me to utter a word but I refused to speak. It was just so painful to unexpectedly see him and hear him again. I wasn't emotionally ready pala.

I closed my eyes. After a few moments of silence, I gathered all the courage to response.

"What brings you here Lege?" I formally asked.

"I am Rico's business partner in this bank. Nabanggit niya na kayo ang nag mamanage na buo-in ang establishment na ito. I'm sorry, I was the one who asked for your speech." he shyly confessed. Though he looked matured, he still looked cute. He still stun my eyes and heart after all these years and I guess, that will never change.

"Really." I laughed. "That must be God's will na pag lapitin uli tayo ng tadhana." Suddenly, there was something in what I said that made the heavy feelings slowly fade.

"Yeah, maybe it is, but hearing your speech. Our love story. Lege and Shine's great love story." He paused, flashing another sadness in his eyes. "I'm sorry for all the pain that I've caused you sa loob ng napaka habang panahon. Even until now." A tear ran down his cheeks. That gave me the urge to cry too.

"Wala tayong magagawa Lege." It's my turn to smile bitterly, wiped my tears and tried to focus my vision to him. "Everything happened for a reason. Yeah. I must admit. Hindi na'tin ginusto iyon. Wala ni isa sa atin ang may gusto, but it just happened."

I closed my eyes for a brief moment.... then the memories came flashing back like waves. Our memories together.

"You're worth every firsts in my life." I smiled not minding how swollen my eyes had become and how wet my face was from crying. "But you are not worth the lasts."

He stared at me for almost a minute.

"You're right Shine. At nahanap ko na ang dahilang iyon sa buhay ko." he flashed me his phone with a wallpaper.

Litrato iyon ng taong sobra sobra akong sinaktan.

Kasama ang anak nilang babae.

"My family." he smiled sadly. "I had learned to love my own family now. I am living normally." Napatigil siya at pinahid ang sariling luha. "I never knew you're still living like this... miserably."
