i woke up to a great smell, pancakes!!
i walked into my bathroom and washed my mascara stained cheeks.
i changed into a different sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants

i walked downstairs and grabbed a plate out of the cabinet
"hey tate, how many pancakes do you want?" my dad said flipping the last two and turning off the stove.
"just one please." i said handing him my plate.
he handed me back my plate and kissed my forehead.
i smiled and walked over to the fridge to grab the orange juice.
i poured my self a glass and i sat down at the table next to mini.
"hi sissy."
"hi teagan" i said sipping my juice
"are you ok? you were crying last night."
"i'm fine mini." i said trying to not only reassure teagan but also myself

i quickly finished my pancake and told my mom i was leaving

i walked past everyone who had their jaws wide open
i stopped dead in my tracks when i was about to walk past thomas.
he stood there spreading peanut butter on a slice of bread
his eyes were too focused on the peanut butter to see me
i wanted to run into his arms and hold him forever.
i wanted to cry on his shoulder while he kissed my forehead and told me it was gonna be ok.
i just wanted him.
but i couldn't have him.
he looked up at me and i ran, i just ran.
