Chapter 24

Jungkook was in a jolly mood and walking through the college hallway while humming to himself. Finally he had finished writing his new song and was thinking of giving YN a surprise. Just thinking about how romantic it'd be, his face lit up with a bunny smile.

While walking through the hallways he saw Fay standing in front of the lockers. He went near her to ask about YN but she was talking to someone on the phone.

"W-what??" Fay mumbled with a shaky voice and her face became pale all of a sudden.

"Hey, are you okay?" Jungkook asked feeling worried about the girl.

"Ju-Jungkook....... Y-YN and.... Y-Yoongi had an a-accident!" Fay managed to say and then broke down into tears.

*a moment of silence*

Jimin was coming towards them with a smiley face and his hands were in his pant pockets. He was about to call out Jungkook's name when suddenly he saw them running away with a horse speed.

"Hey, wait up guys! Where are you going?" Jimin shouted while running behind them.

When Yoongi's car crashed with another one at the intersection, the people nearby rushed towards the spot and called 119. It was quite a serious accident and both the cars were damaged beyond repair.

When people were getting worried thinking about if the rider's were okay, one particular person was praying for them to be spot dead. It was none other than Min Sia.

She hired a mechanic the previous day and made him tamper with Yoongi's car. As a result of which Yoongi couldn't stop his car and boom.

Sia was following Yoongi and now that the crash had occurred, she got down from her car and rushed towards the crowd. She was really hoping that they'd be spot dead.

But to her disappointment, when the ambulance came, the emergency workers declared that they weren't dead yet. They picked up the three injured bodies from the two crashed cars and put them in different ambulances.

She followed the ambulances up to the hospital and when Yoongi's injured body was taken inside, she hurriedly searched the ambulance for Yoongi's cell phone which had the recording of their mother's confession.

'Voila!! Even if you wake up, you won't have any proof dear Yoongi oppa! And for that bitch YN, I'll make sure she never wakes up!' Sia thought.

Jungkook, Fay and Jimin came to the hospital in a hurry. Seeing them Sia also tagged along to know about the condition.

"Sir, you guys can't enter. Please wait here, the patients are in the OR. And please complete these papers as soon as possible," a nurse said and handed them a consent form.

"Sia! Have you called your mother?" Jungkook asked her being very desperate.

"N-not yet. I-I just found out," Sia stuttered as she was feeling really nervous.

"What are you waiting for dammit!! She needs to sign these papers, call her now!" Jungkook shouted getting angry for no reason.

Now Sia started shaking in fear. She didn't know how to face her mother as Mrs Mei didn't know about her little plan. Mei wasn't a good person for sure but she would never harm her own son, so it was all Sia's plan.

Seeing her fidgeting with the phone, Jungkook snatched it from her hand and called Mrs Mei.

"Where's my son! What happened to him! My Yoongi!" Mei came running while crying like a maniac.

Seeing her Sia backed off being afraid. Fay was crying incessantly and Jimin was trying to comfort her. Seeing no other options, Jungkook came forward and tried to calm Mei down.

Just at that moment the doctor came out of the OR.

"Miss Lee YN is now out of danger. She'll get well soon."

"What about my son? How's he?" Mei shouted being all reckless.

"Another doctor is attending him. So please wait ma'am. He was in a quite critical condition so just keep praying."

Hearing those words Mei went completely crazy and as soon as her eyes fell on Sia, she rushed towards her.

"You!!..... You did this to my son! Why! Why!.... Didn't I tell you to stay away from him? You wanted to kill YN, then why did you do this to my precious child!.... Did you hear what the doctor said? That bitch is completely fine but.... but my child is...." *sob*... *sob* Mei completely broke down and slapped Sia God knows how many times.

Now the events took quite an interesting turn. Fay and Jungkook were now looking at the mother and daughter like a hawk. Their grief suddenly turned into anger. And Jimin being clueless about everything, went ahead to stop Mei from hitting Sia and causing further scene in the hospital.

However, YN woke up the next day and Jungkook who was holding back his tears till now, broke down as soon as he saw her open her eyes.

As for Yoongi, he woke up a few days later. His injuries were more serious than YN and it took him two more surgeries to recover completely.

"I'm sorry," Yoongi mumbled.

"Why are you saying sorry for, ha?" Fay whined, flapping her swollen eyes.

"You wanted a grand proposal but I got late, mianhaee."

"Yaaa, I don't need any proposal. You are all I want so get well soon. And for your kind information, YN already told me about the ring!" Fay smiled shyly.

"Aish that brat! She ruined all my surprise!" Yoongi scoffed.

"You've already given me the shock of life, I can't handle any more surprises!" Fay said and then gave him a warm hug.

Well, Sia did destroy Yoongi's phone but Yoongi wasn't stupid. He had another copy of the recording and he submitted it to the police without any hesitation. And also he apologized to YN for keeping the secret from her.

The cases were reopened and Mei was sentenced to lifetime imprisonment for three murders. Why three? Well YN's mom's car crashed into Jeon Sana's car who was Jungkook's sister. So basically Mei was liable for her death too. This case only stabbed Jungkook's dried wound further.

As for Sia, the investigation revealed her guilty. So she was sentenced to few years in jail for attempt to murder of Yoongi and YN.
