Through Time

From laughter comes tears,

From love comes a bittersweet taste,

From comfort comes pain,

Like a flower, it blooms then soon withers in such a haste.

Like a shadow imitating your path,

Like a feather so light it flies away,

Like a trap deceiving so it can capture,

Oh love, mysterious, how can you stay?

For as the sun, a symbol of a new beggining,

The hope it sets lightening the eyes,

Yet the rain, raging, but soon it is soothing,

To the being left alone with solid cries.

Oh how can it continue?

When it seeks love and attention.

Yet thus, it is as the rainbow when still new,

But through time, it loses its motion.

Through time, you reminisce,

You smile though tears starts to fall,

The past, the feeling of the memories,

You wish for it to come back at all.

Tell me what you think!
