That afternoon, Sasuke was his usual self during practice. And Naruto simply watched him. Until the practice ended and the Captain called Sasuke outside to discuss something.
"So, I'm guessing the girl was his soulmate," Shikamaru suddenly said once they were the only ones in the club room and everyone else already left while Sasuke was still in the gym with the Captain.
"Huh? How'd you know Shikamaru?"
"Well, just a hunch," Shikamaru said, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly.
"Damn, even your hunch is on genius level, that's scary."
"So, what did you tell her? Did you tell her about Sasuke's eye condition?"
"Nah, it wasn't my place to tell her,", Naruto said. But he knew if he told Sakura about it, she might understand why Sasuke said those things to her and then she might went on and talk to Sasuke about it.
"Then what did you tell her?" Shikamaru asked again.
"I told her I know two things on how to make Sasuke believe that they're soulmates."
