A week before the Interhigh Preliminaries, the Basketball Club had become busier and not to mention the training schedules being tightened as they spend more hours practicing for the upcoming preliminaries. It was on Monday when the Basketball Club received the news from the Club advisor.
"Iruka Sensei," Sakura said as she spotted the teacher who entered the gym in a hurry.
"Everyone, gather up!" The Captain said as the practice was momentarily stopped. The players and Sakura gathered around the club advisor and the Coach.
"Everyone, it's the brackets, here's the copy," Iruka said as he unfolded the paper and laid it on the court floor and the players all looked down on it.
"Block C," the Captain said after scanning the brackets.
With four blocks, the Preliminaries will be held for five days. Two games in a day, lose once and that Team will be kicked out of the block. The winners of each blocks, the best four, will compete. Block A against Block B and Block C against Block D, wherein the two winning teams will compete for the winner and first runner up who will be given a chance to compete in the Winter Cup. While the two losing teams will compete and the team that wins at the end will move to the Nationals, completing the three teams who will represent the Kanto Region.
