Sasuke woke up at the sound of his digital clock beeping loudly above the headboard. But it wasn't what woke him up initially, his pounding head was what stirred him awake and the ongoing beep of the digital clock was adding to the ache he's feeling in his head that he almost threw the digital clock when he turned the alarm off.
"Damn," he muttered as he groaned, rubbing his temple as he sat on the edge of the bed.
When he stood up, his knees almost gave out and he fell, his back hitting the comforter as he lied there facing the ceiling fan.
"I feel so awful today," he muttered, lifting his hand as he put his arm atop his forehead. "And after what happened yesterday," he trailed off, feeling the side of his lips turning up.
When he remembered sitting at the back of the bus with Sakura while it rained yesterday, thinking back as he went on to say those things that he had no idea was even possible to be said out loud a few months prior. Then his mind went back to the rain. That's right, it was raining hard yesterday and he was running with his training clothes drenched in sweat.
"Ah, this sucks," he muttered as he closed his eyes, the cold weather outside made him sleepy and the duvet feels comfortable as he snuggled more, falling deep into slumber.
