I say this but... don't even want to talk about how fucking long this took.
For real, I messaged you about this on JUNE 6TH, and it's currently JULY 14th. That's more than a fucking MONTH. && after all is said and done, I really don't know how to feel about this ─ I like it a lot more after I finished adding in the coloring & transitions, but I came so close to scrapping the entire thing multiple times during the editing process. && the concept of the video changed SO many times ─ I went through like, six different songs before I finally settled.
I know the song choice probably isn't what you wanted, but I really tried using ~4 different versions of Hey Jude and it just wasn't working out ☹ I'm also kinda irritated by how abrupt the ending is, but Lily's scenes weren't looking so good with Ben's. (Speaking of Lily, she's so fucking pretty + talented, I'm so sad she defended her ugly ass, racist boyfriend... we really can't have ANYTHING in this house, goddamn.)
Anyways, I hope I did your story justice! To briefly explain what's happening, I kind of arranged everything in what I assume is chronological order? The beginning sets up Jude & James's relationship dynamic (god bless Love, Rosie for giving us unrequited love/friends to lovers material!!) && then it moves to James asking Jude for help with Lily. Then, it's Jude realizing that Lily is important to James && her relationship with him will change as a result. The chorus highlights Jude & James's relationship, but then it shifts to Jude & Sirius, and then finally Jude & Harry!!
Let me know what you think! TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUBMITTED A REQUEST, I know I'm being really slow but, as I've said before, video editing takes time. This video alone took me a fucking MONTH ─ hopefully, now that I'm not working atm (which is a LONG story) I'll have more time to dedicate to projects!! Then again, the heat makes me sluggish & lazy, and it's hard to focus on anything, so most of my work is being done from like, 11 PM to 3 AM LOL. Plus, I can only make one video at a time, since my storage space is limited (trying to make the thumbnail for this video was a fucking MESS, I had so many resources saved that Photoshop didn't want to open LOL). I have a pretty long list of requests that I want to work on, though, so don't be discouraged by the lack of content!! ☺
