Mattia pov:
Y/n and i walk down stairs and I see kairi and alejandro eating. They look up and see me and smile,
"Finally you guys fucked," alejandro smirks
"The sexual tension was hard to watch" kairi says as I punch him softly
"So what now?" Ale asks me
"Well that's how to y/n she seems to have everything under control" I say
"Yea but when our soldiers know your alive they are gonna want you to be leader again" kairi says
"Some of them we starting to rebel under my authority" ale says worried
"Tell me who and I'll take care of them" I say
I hear footsteps coming down I turn and I see y/n.
"Hey beautiful" I say as she kisses me
"I kinda thought I was going to wake up next to you" she says with a slight frown
"Next time I promise baby" I say kissing her forehead.
"So what were you guys talking about?" She asks
"About what was gonna happen with the mafias" I reply
"Yes we need to talk about that, some of your soldiers started to rebel under ales authority" she says
"He just told me" I say
"Yea well we have to figure something out and fast" y/n says
"Ale set up a meeting I need to meet with everyone and take control again" I say looking at all three of them and they nod.
"Right then I'm gonna go get ready" y/n says
"Ready for what?" I ask
"I have an appointment today at the hospital" she reply's
"Oh, I'll go with you" I say
"You sure? I thought you were gonna meet up with your soldiers" she says
"They Can wait" I say smiling
Y/n pov:
We arrive at the hospital and mattia helps me out the car.
I walk in and sign in a few minutes later the nurse calls my name and mattia and I walk into the room and the nurse pokes the needle in my arm and puts the ice hat on my head.
I start to get cold and tired.
Mattia starts to have a conversation with me and tell me all about living with Mariano.
After an hour the nurse come in and takes the needle out of my arm and the ice cap off.
We wait for the doctor to come in.
"Hello y/n" she says
"Hi" I slightly smile "this is my husband mattia"
Mattia stands up and greets the doctor
"Right, well I see progress, the tumor is getting smaller. You have two options here.
"Which are?" I ask
"The first one you could continue chemo and see if the tumor leaves all by itself, or you could have the tumor removed with surgery" she says
"Is there bad news with any of this?" Mattia asks
"Well if she continues chemo no, but since the medication is killing the bad cells it is also affecting her body, meaning she could be at risk of never having kids again" she reply's
"And with the surgery?" I ask
"Many things could go wrong, since you have been taking chemo for a while your body is weak so you might not make it through" she says
"Well thanks doc I'll let you know by tomorrow night" I say smiling
"Yes well it was nice seeing you" she smiles shakes my hand and walks off
"Stay with chemo" mattia says as soon as the doctor walks out
"What?" I say surprised
"Mattia I want kids, don't you?" I say
"Of course i want kids I want a family with you but I won't put you at risk" he says
"Look Mattia I understand where you are coming from but this is my decision" I say getting up slowly
"But-" he starts
"But nothing" I quickly cut him off
The whole car ride was silent we arrive to the house I walk in and kairi is in the living room watching tv.
He hears us walk in and turns the tv off.
"So how's it go?" He ask
Mattia doesn't reply
"I gotta go get ready for the meeting" he says and walks off
"What happen?" Kairi asks me
I explain everything to him. He looks at me and lightly laughs
"Wow so your actually considering to do surgery?" He asks
"Well no shit I want kids kairi" I snap
"Relax, I'll support you but doesn't mean I agree with it" he says
"Why does no one agree?" I ask annoyed
"I DONT KNOW Y/N maybe we don't want to lose you, maybe mattia doesn't want to lose you again, maybe I don't want to lose my BESTFRIEND" le says as his voice cracks and tears start forming in his eyes
"I-I didn't know you felt like this" I say in a low voice
"Yea well now you do so let's just go on with life if you really want the surgery I'm here for you" he reply's
He goes and sits on the couch and leaves me with my thoughts.
