Chapter 53

"Why are you the one asking for my help?" Head Master Jeon hissed to Butler Omni who went directly at Jeon Mansion instead of accompanying Jungkook and Chaeyoung at the trial.

"Head Master you know how hard headed that kid. He won't ask you knowing that you will not help him without a bargain." Butler Omni said with his pleading voice.

"That Brat, how come he can't get a hold on such a simple matter as that. He was so arrogant showing me he can stand on his own and now he will crumble just because of a woman? Let him suffer then and experience failure so he will realize that his power was not enough as I've always said." Head Master exclaimed as he blew a smoke from his tobacco.

"Head Master, how come you are so calm at times like this. I thought Young Master Jungkook was your favorite grandchild. Are you going to let him get hurt like this?" Butler Omni insisted.

Then he added exaggeratedly, "Aren't you afraid of him getting suicidal once he failed on this. You knew most popular people tend to become suicidal on matters concerning heartache especially those who was not used to experience such pain."

Head Master Jeon just laughed out hard on Butler Omni's face and said, "You've been his manny since birth and you are saying Jungkook might become suicidal? What is this, Butler Omni? Don't tell me you will become suicidal yourself if you encountered some situation like that in love?"

"Oh probably the Almighty thought you had tendency to become suicidal that was why until now you are single yourself. You've been saved then." Head Master Jeon continued scornfully with a jest followed by a loud laughter that roared at the whole garden of the mansion.

Butler Omni: ".......?"

"Oh go back with that Brat you old maid and tell him I am only willing to make a move if he will be the one to ask for it!" Head Master Jeon screeched before waving to dismiss Butler Omni to disappear quickly from his sight.

Jungkook and Chaeyoung arrived at the court just in time still holding hands that made his father who was sitting up front frowned.

Chaeyoung bit her lips and smiled at her father awkwardly.

She saw Jungkook slightly bowed his head to pay respect when her father's eyes shifted to the man beside his precious daughter.

'Since when did my daughter have a man in her life?' Mr. Park thought inwardly while he scanned the man from head to toe.

Chaeyoung chuckled at her father's reaction. He was obviously peeling Jungkook out with that stare.

Jungkook gulped, not sure whether to smile, lower his head or keep an eye contact to Chaeyoung's father who was scrutinizing him with those glances.

After a few minutes the trial began.

Jungkook's mobile phone was vibrating so he let go of Chaeyoung's hand and excused himself to answer it.

After the call he went back inside and found out that the seat Chaeyoung was occupying was empty. Jungkook's face paled, his heart was beating fast as he hurriedly went back outside.

"Where is Chaeyoung?" he shouted out loud to his men outside who were supposed to guard Chaeyoung tightly. Panic can be seen on his fuming faced.

"What is going on in here?" Chaeyoung's soft voice was heard from Jungkook's behind. He quickly turned around and pulled Chaeyoung to his embrace as if he had not seen her for a long time.

"Jungkook, let go. I can't breathe." Chaeyoung said stuttering. Jungkook gently released her.

Chaeyoung's eyes widened when she looked at Jungkook.

"Oh my God, what happened? What's going on? Why are you tearing up?" she asked in a row.

Jungkook's face frowned and murmured, "I thought you're gone and left me."

"No, I just went to the restroom directly." Chaeyoung said on a low soft voice as she gently wiped Jungkook's tears.

"Oh my God, I am so sorry for worrying you." She said and hugged him.

"Stop that Jungkook! I am a trash so you must not waste a tear for me. You are Jeon Jungkook, how come you are weak like this! I hate weak men!" Chaeyoung exclaimed and scolded him during the hug.

Chen who witnessed what just happened had to close his mouth as his jaw dropped so hard.

'What happened to their CEO? What was that he just saw?' he thought inwardly as he blinked his eyes for several times to make sure that it was real and he wasn't just imagining things.

That was so cool for him because it takes courage and strength to feel your feelings and he was sure it was not easy for their CEO to let those tears be seen just like that.
