I held Elora's hand tightly as we watched the crooked sign light up just outside the shop, the small bulbs illuminating the night sky. Isabelle's Flower Shop.

"I'm so proud of you, Belle."

I looked to my left where my best friend stood, wiping away the stray tears while she sniffled quietly. I took a deep breath in as I wiped away my own tears while I tried to remind myself that I deserved this. I deserved to be happy for myself and I sure as hell deserved to be emotional at the grand opening of my flower shop.

Well the grand opening was technically the next day, but Elora and I just had to see the sign lit up at night time. And let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing. It was like watching all of my childhood dreams come true all in one flicker of a switch and I was proud. Proud of myself, proud of how far I'd come, and proud of how far I'd go. And I wouldn't have gotten this far if it weren't for Elora.

And Harry of course, but I didn't know that yet.
