So FFxiv has been doing this thing today where it kicks EVERY SINGLE PERSON out of the server. Every. Single. One. The hundreds of people playing. All get kicked out. Then it straight up doesn't load your character.

And legit every single person who plays this is having this issue. Worldwide. Why must this happen to me I was having fun fishing and treasure hunting and visiting Alphi please load so I can play once again.
