"Uhm.." Martha started as we all looked in her direction, "Yeah i really don't have a plan," She said, sitting back down,

Groaning, we all sat in silence trying to figure out a plan. "How about.. we go out and look around town?" Emily said, "That's not a bad idea.." I said look at Marcus, "If anything we'll most likely be back by 5? 6?" I continued, agreeing with Emily.

"Okay, fine." Marcus said agreeing to the plan Emily came up with, "We'll go, and be back by 5 at least," He said, "But we should takes bag of things were gonna need," He finished.

"Like what?" Charles asked, looking at Marcus, "I don't know? Like flashlights, phone chargers, some food-" "I know! Blankets and pillows!" Matthew cut him, pointing his finger to the air,

"Yeah, blankets and pillows," Marcus said agreeing with Matthew.

"Well, we should start loading everything into the van, it's almost 2, which grants us around.. 3 hours to go around town and back to Cassidy's," Kayla said, looking down at her watch.

"Alright, well.. what are we waiting for?" Charles said, getting up and making his way to the blanket closet.

All walking towards a specific area of my house, Marcus and I head to the kitchen to see what to bring, "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Marcus asks from beside me,

"Yes, we all know it would be bad if Emily said no to it, but she didn't, which means it's a good one," I said, grabbing some pretzels from the cabinet, "Just making sure.." He mumbled, getting some drinks.

"Uhm.. do you think 4 big blankets are a little too much?" Charles asked me, "No, not at all. Why?" I asked, "Kayla won't let me put them into the van, she said there's no point in having 4 big ass blankets." He responded,

"Tell her i said it's fine," Marcus sighed, "Okay, thanks." Charles replied, walking towards the door, "Haha suck on the Mackayla!" We heard him say as he walked away,

"Those twins are.. something else," Marcus said laughing turning his attention to the small bag, shoving the drinks in.

Nodding and chuckling, I tie a knot onto the bag. "Ready to go?" I ask, "No, but come on." He said, grabbing the bag of drinks, as i carry the bag of snacks.

Everyone was waiting on the porch, talking about how quiet the town seemed,

"I call shotgun!" "Shotgun!" Charles and I said at the same time,

Staring at each other for a few seconds, we both make a run for the passenger door,

Slapping the door, "HAHA in your face.. lalalalala," I say like a little kid, "Whatever," Charles mumbles, sliding the van door open, sitting in the back row with Martha, who has 2 big blankets and a ton of pillows for the ride.

Once everyone got in their seats, comfortable and seatbelts on Marcus starts the car and looks at all of us,

"Let's go." He says driving out of my driveway.
