Arabella was practically beaming with excitement as she stood on the sidewalk where Michael had dropped her off on his way to work, waiting to see infamous range rover that she would be spending the better half of her afternoon in. Her attention was averted to her phone for a moment as she shot a quick reply to Finn from earlier, only for her to glance up and catch sight of it.
The brunette bounced lightly on the balls of her feet in her heels out of pure elation, watching as the car pulled up besides her. She let out a small squeak as the passenger window rolled down and her driver for the day ducked his head so she could see his face.
"Oh my god, James!" Arabella squealed as she moved towards the car, standing by the passenger side door, "You have no idea how hyped I am for this, man!"
"Get in loser, we're carpooling." James let out a loud laugh as she clapped her hands eagerly, squealing once again at his sly reference to one of her all-time favourite films.
He leaned over to open the door, Arabella pulling it open and climbing inside and sitting besides him in the passenger seat, one leg pulled towards her chest and the other hanging over the edge as she grinned uncontrollably.
"You go, Glen Coco!"
James let out a loud laugh at her retort before starting to drive, sending side glances to the girl every few seconds as she fiddled with her seatbelt.
"Thank you so much for helping me get to work, the traffic is so bad today, I really appreciate it." He addressed the bright-eyed female who chewed lightly on her bottom lip.
Arabella let out a 'psh' sound, batting her hands lightly at the statement, she chirped happily, "No worries, man, I'm happy to help."
"Do you mind if we listen to some music?"
She felt herself get giddy at the iconic line, she loved his carpool karaoke series and had seen pretty much every episode there was of it, and it still felt unreal to her that she actually in one of her own right now. She bit her bottom lip and nodded her head, music was her absolute passion. She would never pass up an opportunity to listen to it.
And so she responded eagerly, "Go ahead, I love music!"
The familiar sound of her hit song 'Dangerous Woman' filled the air and both parties were quick to sing along, stealing playful glances at each other as James just about managed to hit the high notes that Arabella sang effortlessly, messing around and dancing in their seats.
The girl clapped her hands happily as the outro played, her head snapping towards the driver as she screeched in joy, "Wow, man, you didn't come here to play with those notes!"
