What happened?
One moment we're at a carnival, having fun throwing our intestines out and now we're all sprawled out on a room floor.
"What the hell...why are we on the floor?" I asked, trying to sitting up and rubbing my head. It hurt badly. "And where are we?"
They all just groaned, as if in pain, then I saw it...
The book
It all came back to me. The strange events of last night. But I think I must have imagined some things, in my groggy state. We were all seated on the floor of Tom and Jacky's room, holding hands and chanting-, something I don't even remember.
Did we pass out?
"Ouch," Jenny said, opening her eyes. She was still lying on the floor though. "my arm hurts." She then closed her eyes again.
Come to think of it, my left arm did sting a little. I raised up the sleeve of my top arm and I screeched.
No one even bothered to look at me and Tom let out an annoyed sigh.
A tattoo?! A freakish looking one of a wave. It kinda made sense, I am a water elemental after all.
My parents are going to kill me. I mean I've always wanted to get one with George and Jenny, they are cool after all but... Wait, did they all have one too?
I immediately set to work and crawled to them, checking each of them with little reluctance on their part. Too tired I guess.
They all had one too, different though. George was an air elemental, so had what I think was a tattoo of the wind. It was pretty good actually. Isabel was an ice and snow elemental, so had one of a snowflake. Jenny was a nature elemental, so had one of trees. Tom had a tattoo of a flame, cause he was a fire elemental. Jacky had one of a boulder, cause he was an earth elemental.
"Guys, get up. We have tattoos!" I exclaimed.
"Good for you-"George mumbled, then abruptly sat up "wait! What?" He said wide eyed.
"How did this happen?" Tom asked gruffly, sitting up and cradling his head.
"Whoa!" Jenny said, eyeing the tattoo on her left arm then looking at me. "This is so cool. You know we've always wanted to get one Harls."
"I'm so dead." Isabel groaned, rolling around on the floor. "You guys know I'm practically a model, right? My mum's gonna throw a fit when she finds out."
Isabel sometimes modelled cause her mom made her. It would be a headliner in a magazine that a Blanchard had a tattoo. Not to be rude or mean but Isabel's mom was the worst.
"Hey, you guys have to see this." Jacky said looking at the book.
The book had started spinning and giving off a weird glow. We all crawled towards it.
"Warriors, place your hands on the book. Now!" The guardians commanded. Looks like we can't get a minute off all this power stuff.
We did so and the book started shaking, with so much force that we had to take our hands off. I was panicking now and we all started inching back.
The book suddenly flipped open and the pages turned on their own. It stopped at a particular page.
