"This one?" Rory asked, lifting a picnic basket to show Jo and Lorelai.

Lorelai shook her head. "No. It's too big. It raises expectations."

"Like there's a home-cooked lunch in there?" Rory asked.

"Instead of whatever's leftover in our refrigerator? Exactly."

"Okay. Going back on the pile now."

Lorelai sighs. "It's quaint, isn't it? The woman makes a nice lunch basket, men bid on it, the world rotates backward on its axis."

"I think it's fun." Rory said.

"Because you have a pretty boy to bid on your basket." Lorelai said reminding her.

"Yes, I do." Rory said happily.

Lorelai looks at Jo as her eyes scan a basket in her hands. "What about you, Jo?" Lorelai asked.

Jo looked up to her, she looked confused due to not paying full attention to their conversation. "Huh?"

"Do you have a special boy you want to bid on your basket?" Lorelai said in a gossiping tone.

"I don't know," Jo shrugged. "I just hope it's not Chuck Presby. He keeps giving me this looks and douchy head nods as he bites his lips." She said grimacing at the memories and Lorelai shuttered in disgust. "I'm just doing out of curiosity on what stranger I have to spend lunch with. I lost hope in a special boy a long time ago."
