It brings me immense joy and gratitude to present my work, "Distant Star" to you. Writing this book has been a labor of love, and I hope that you found as much pleasure in reading it as I found in crafting its words.
I wrote this short story as for my application to our school's newsletter organization (and I got accepted). Being a history enthusiast and a hopeless romantic at the same time, I decided to create a story with a touch of historical fiction and romance combined.
