Chapter 81

"I can't believe your going back home tomorrow" Mom pouts pulling me into a hug and kissing my head.

"Mom,stop" I huff trying to get out of her grip,but failing miserably."At least I'll be back home with the girls,and safe"

"Yeah," she sighs,"You've got the place to yourselves tonight.Your dad and I have been invited out to dinner." She tells me excitedly

I zone out after this,not listening to a single word she said until she left the room.You could day I'm fully recovered from the car crash,the only remaining injury being the broken bones in my arms.

But mom still treats me like I'm a  delicate ornament that needs to be protected at all costs.Whoch gets very annoying,Payton has been super distant,trying to fix all of our problems.And no matter how much I try he wont stop.

"We have a free house tonight,what do you wanna do" I ask walking over to Payton,sitting in his lap so that I'm straddling him,my arms wrapped around his neck and my head rested on his chest.

"Whatever you wanna do" he answers,"I'll stop worrying about everything and we can have the night to ourselves." He puts the phone down ans wraps his arms around my waist,burying his face into my hair.

"We have to go to sleep soon,since our flight is early in the morning" I mumble

"Let's go then" he says standing up,I let out a slight squeal as he lifts me up with him and walks us to our room down the hall.Oncw we get in he makes sure to leave the door slightly open before throwing me onto the bed.

I burst put on laughter as my body hit the soft mattress,sinking in and Payton's soon following as he lays besides me looking up at the ceiling.

I get up moving my body onto of his so that I'm straddling him again,linking our hands together I think out loud,mumbling about how much I love him.

"What did you say?" He teases

"Nothing" I answer him quickly

"I heard something"

"I said I love you"

"I love you too.I don't think you understand how much.I'd do it all for you Abi,you're my everything I need you more and more every day because your so important to me"

My checks flush red and my heart warms as he says this,"you know I love you too,I can't imagine myself with anyone else but you.No one seems right,not even Jace.Doing the deal with you was the best decision of my life

"Finally,I'm home" I sigh as we stepped off the aeroplane.

"Did you miss LA?" Payton asks linking his hands in mine.

"Very much" I laugh as we walk to the baggage collection.

Mom obviously cried at the airport,not wanting me to leave.Dad was pretty chilled and didn't fuss over me too much,although he did mutter something to Payton before we left.

We get to the baggage collection where we wait for our suitcases to appear.I decide to get a bottle of water from the vending machine.Once it comes out I open the bottle walking back to Payton.

But I wasn't looking where i was going and before I know it the water has splashed me and the random stranger I walked into.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry,I wasn't looking where I was going and I-" I completely trail off when I look up to make eye contact with no other than Nathan,the tour guide from Greece.

"Abi?"

"Nathan,hi" I say as he pulls me into a hug,"What are you doing here?"

"Well,I finished school and wanted to visit for the summer.I was planning on surprising Stella"he says cheerily

And then i remember.Stella and Nathan had a thing,but now she's with Eli,but Nathan doesn't know.After debating whether I should tell him I decide not to,instead giving him my number and walking back over to Payton who has our luggage.

"Why were you hugging that guy?"

"Its Nathan,from Greece.He's here for Stella" I whisper to him

"But what about Eli?" He asks me

"That's a question only Stella can answer"

We walk out into the arrivals area where the girls are already waiting for us with a massive sign.When I see them I leave Payton's side rushing to pull them all into a hug.

"Welcome home!" Lara says

"Thanks," I smile

The girls all say hey to Payton who comes up besides me.We get into Lara's car and she begins to drive us home.

"Omg Stella you'll never guess what happened" I say quickly as I spot Nathan leaving the airport

"What?"she asks looking up from her phone

"I bumped into Nathan,he's here"

"Wait,Nathan as in the cute Greek guy?" Lara asks from behind the wheel

"Yeah,and he's here for Stella!" I say a bit too loudly.

"You told him I have a boyfriend,right?" She ask

I shake my head slowly preparing myself for her violent side to attack.

"You're lucky I'm here in the front.I hate you so much" she groans,"Now I have to face him"

"Less than an hour back and you've ruined things again" Emmy whispers to me

I kick her leg giving her an annoyed look as she smiles up at me.
