Kai entered the mansion. The door was never locked, because no one in their right mind would ever walk in.

Taking a deep breath, he snuck into the silent mansion. It was late, and there were no guards.

He ventured into the house, astounded by the opulence, the beauty of it.

It was held by pillars, the hall paved in Golden marble.

He shook his head. It would take forever to find her. If someone-

"It's beautiful isn't it?" An accented thundered the hall.

Kai looked up, noting the tall, huge, Russian and Thai standing at the top of the stairs.

She wore a slim suit, black. Her eyes narrowed on Kai.

"If you look very closely, in pillars, you can see bones."

Kai shivered. Her eyes were cold and black, with no feeling as she stated there were bones in her walls.

"I'm here for Ruby Jane. Giver her to me," He stated with conviction.

The Russian and Thai cocked her head slowly. "Ruby Jane? You are not here for her. You are here, to die. And I am here, to grant your wish."

Kai swallowed roughly. "If you care for her, you'll let her go."

Pranpriya pulled her gun, cocking it.

"I've always wanted to see the red marble option."

"Pranpriya, don't!"

Lisa froze. Kai froze.

"Lisa, don't"

Lisa? Kai wondered. That must be her name. Oh no...

No one knew Pranpriya's name. It was forbidden to know, and forbidden to say.

"I'll hold her off, Ruby Jane. Run," Kai said

Ruby Jane ignored him.

"Go back to bed, Kiska. I must finish him," Lisa rumbled.

"He helped me. And he sent me back to you. Please... let him leave."

Lisa squinted, her arm extended, finger riding the trigger."

"I cannot let him go. He must die here. Go back to bed."

"Lisa, please. Please, let him go."

"You care for this man?" Lisa asked lowly.

"I just don't want anyone to get hurt."

Lisa gritted her teeth. She looked at him up and down, disdain filling her.

"Please," She begged, touching her back.

Casting her glance, she sneered. "Go,"

Kai reared back. "What?"

"Leave here. And never come back, or I will paint my floors with your blood."

Kai shook.

"I-I-  I'm not leaving without her."

"You leave. Or you die."

Ruby Jane smiled small. "It's alright Kai. You should go."

"I can't leave you here, in her hands."

Lisa felt something. It was nasty feeling in her chest, as they conversed in soft whispers, Ruby Jane's smile directed at that man.

"Leave here, boy! I will not tell you again.  And you," She shot a look at Ruby Jane. "You will not see him again. Say goodbye."

"Goodbye, Kai."

Lisa turned around, leaving the man standing, while Ruby Jane grabbed Lisa's suit following behind her.

"Ruby Jane. Come with me, please. Let me help you."

She gave him a smile. "Goodbye, Kai. Please leave here. I don't think you can help anymore. Thank you."

"But... " The two disappeared down a hallway, leaving him to let himself out.

And that's what he did.

But he was determined. He would rescue that girl. He would if it killed him.
