"Louis! Come on! It's my 21 birthday!" Harry cried.
"And yet you're trying to drag me into a fortune tellers booth."
"Please?"
"I'll wait outside."
"Aw, you're lame."
"I know, 28 year old boyfriend, so lame."
"Yeah." Harry laughed.
Louis pressed his lips to his, "just go in." He mumbled.
Harry laughed, walking into the dark room.
He pushed the curtain flap behind him, and took in his surroundings. It was like he had left the park..
Curtains covered the wall, letting not light in, and a lamp in the center of the table was the only source of light. Next to the lamp was a crystal ball, and they were both on a small table with two chairs.
An old woman came in, her long skirt flowing against the floor, rustling with each step.
Harry was a bit nervous.
But also excited.
"Um, hello, I'm-"
"Harry styles, I know." The woman said in a whispering voice.
How did she know?
Oh wait, Louis had said his name.
But not his last name...
"How did you know my last name?"
She ignored him, and gestured for him to sit down.
"How's your brother? Liam? Isn't it? I heard he was cancer stricken as a child."
Harry's eyes widened as she bustled around, and nodded.
"He-he's good."
"Wonderful, and your mother l? Well I understand it's a sore subject considering what happened when you were younger, so I won't pry."
"What the hell.." Harry whispered.
"How do you know all those things about me?"
"Darling, did you not see the sign when you walked in? I'm a fortune teller."
"Oh yeah, so can I have my fortune?"
"Of course."
She took his hand in hers, staring at his palm, her eyes widened, and she looked at the ball on the table.
"Oh my.." She whispered.
"What?"
"My dear, you will suffer great trials in the near future."
"What? Trials in what?"
"I don't see quite yet...."
"Oh, come on this is a scam."
"Are you..homosexual?"
"I...why?"
"I see a man, a bit older...."
"Louis." Harry whispered.
"No, I see someone else..two men.... Black hair...tan skin..."
"I think you have the wrong guy, my boyfriend is not like that."
"And another man, blonde hair, and a piercing...I cannot tell where.."
"Listen lady..."
"You will suffer a great deal in your love..you must stay strong Harry."
"I'm just going to go..."
"Heed my warning dear, be watchful for signs."
"Signs of what?"
She simply pushed him out, and Harry whirled around, the bright sun making him blink.
"Harry! Over here!" Louis called.
Harry walked towards him, kissing Louis's cheek.
"So how'd the "fortune" telling go." Louis joked.
"It was very interesting..shit I didn't pay!"
Harry ran back to the tent, and ducked inside.
"Excuse me I-"
He gasped, the tent walls were bare, the table gone, along with the strange woman, it was completely empty.
Harry ran to the next tent, and tapped the worker on the shoulder.
"Excuse me, do you know what happened to the fortune telling booth?
"What do you mean?"
"The booth, in the tent, with the old lady who gives fortunes?"
"The tents been empty for 2 years, but it used to have an old woman who gave fortunes, yeah, but she died of a heart attack, sorry kid."
