if you don't know (haha, song reference), by this time i might possibly have a adam banks book based off 5sos' amnesia so you should check that out

anyway i headcanoned that she was a fangirl so yeah!!

i feel like she'd be a fan of 5sos, starting in her early teen years, cause she was a fan of one direction and they were their opening act

she probably loved try hard the most, and luke's lil smile when the music video came out

she's in luke's lane, definitely

connie literally loves them so much that she probably would die for them

she owns every album but has never seen them in person

probably owned a fan account on instagram that went dead (until 2018 she was all active again and more people loved her cause she was so relatable)

it consists of niche memes and edits that she made. she wiped the whole thing to restart following the new theme

when adam gets his license, she carpools and he lets her listen to 5sos because of the hiatus

he's secretly a fan of heartbreak girl and safety pin

well not so secretly around connie, she influenced him a bunch

oh my goodness she cried when they went on hiatus though, but stayed loyal and sent adam a bunch of memes off them

connie actually didn't know they were back so when they dropped their youngblood album, she freaked out

guy literally had to calm her down and drive her home

he also had to call adam because he probably knew what she was fangirling over

adam drove through an hour of traffic to get to her house because he searched up what released and youngblood popped up

they react to it together, and she's so freaking happy that they're back even if their music is all sad

adam's favorite song off their is ghost of you and best friend

connie's is meet you there and when you walk away definitely

ugh their jam session is full of tissues, tears, and bruises from falling from their beautiful runs and vocals and such

but she's sad because she wanted to see them during rowyso & slfl but she was young and she always missed buying tickets

they end up going to minnesota for their meet you there tour and connie was moping about tickets being sold out, so adam decided to surprise her with tickets because he knew that everyone would make fun of her

he could afford it anyway

she cried

he even got her an extra ticket for guy

spoiler alert: connie brings adam because they're besties and guy was stuck being sick aw poor boy :( goldberg and averman stayed over that night

adam cries cause he's a soft boy

charlie makes fun of him jokingly but is actually really happy because he couldn't take adam complaining anymore about how he hoped she would take him

y'all what a pure friendship

once they go to the concert they actually end up at soundcheck and it's so sweet because 5sos somewhat recognizes them

they're not too familiar with hockey but they do know the origin story of the anaheim ducks

so michael asks for a picture after soundcheck cause he's a little fangirl too

adam says yes for her and they all take a picture on each of their phones and they actually talk for a bit

it got kinda awkward when they assumed they were dating

but adam was like "nah just best friends, i'm a fan of you guys too"

and michael thought that was so cool

the conversation cuts short when the pair has to go to their seats, but they're both content

connie asks if she can get a hug shyly from everyone and she gets it

she's so happy oh my god

like it's amazing

and they have a great night and it's one of her best nights too

especially during one of michael's talks during the concert where he mentions how they're in minnesota and how special y'all are, and then he mentions the hockey team

crowd goes wild

adam and connie are ultimately shook

and they all wave to the duo it's so cute aghh

there is video proof of that, averman manages to send it to the group chat and it's chaotic

but, they all cry during amnesia and rage during talk fast and she's kinda hot

even if connie thought independence day and if you don't know needed to be revived, as well as the killer queen cover, she was g l o w i n g

i wanna bet michael and/or luke end up following connie and adam and they post the picture tagging them by the end of the night

adam and connie are dead by the next morning, and the team is shook

everyone is shook

because they don't realize how famous they are now

but connie literally made both adam's and her dream come true because their faves just followed them on instagram

she's sighing in relief that they don't follow her on twitter cause that's be disastrous haha, or her fan account
