Prologue

Imagine that you could choose any superpower that you want to have? What power would you choose?

A friend of mine chose mind reading, she said it's because she wants to get the idea that other people are trying to tell her. The other one said Teleportation, so that she could just teleport to school in case she wakes up late.

All their superpower choices were great. Because each one had a purpose to help them. But if I were to have a power, it would be the power to erase memories.

It wont have a large impact on my life unlike flying, teleporting or being fast but it's what I need.

I remember everything, including the little useless details in my life. Some might even say that I already have a superpower but it's not. It's a curse.

You cant forget things you want to forget. The phrase 'once you see it you cannot unsee' is literally happening to me everyday. Only a few people know about this though, My doctor and my family that's it.

I wish my memory would just go away. I dont want it anymore after all the things I saw. But i'm also thankful for it. Thanks to my hyperthymesia or photographic memory, I can remember every single detail of you.
