There was silence as I look up to see everybody froze where they were

"Because we were trying to keep you safe" Liam says

I chuckled "Always finds a way to argue in any situation" I start to laugh harder

It went silent for a while before I remembered what Jace said " still trying to keep you safe"

He looked around locking eyes with everybody "oh nothing just saying when you're with us you're always safe"

I turned my head slowly to look at him "So he is lying"

"What are you keep me safe from," I say looking back at Jace

Everybody looked at each other

I looked at Noah and that when I realized I only went to school once and that was half of the day and after that Sam said that I wasn't going to school the next day
