93 Years Later...
(A.n: Allie is eighteen in human years, but I didn't really know how to do it, so I just guessed. If you know how to convert human to elf years please help me lol.)
Allie's POV
"Allie? Have you seen Tauriel?" Legolas asked, climbing off of his horse and walking to me.
"Here!" Tauriel, my other best friend, said from above us. She jumped out of the tree and landed beside me.
"Head back inside. My father wishes to speak to you." Legolas said. Tauriel nodded and ran towards the entrance to Elvenking's Halls, disappearing inside.
It was a beautiful spring morning and Tauriel and I had been practicing archery in the forest. Then Tauriel decided to climb a tree and that's when Legolas showed up.
Suddenly, I felt someone lift my bow, which was in my hands, up into a shooting position. I looked over my shoulder to see Legolas aiming an arrow straight ahead. I smiled slightly and closed one eye in concentration.
I released the arrow and a scream escaped my lips as an old man with a long grey beard, robes, staff, and a pointy hat walked in front of us, about three yards away. He stepped right where the arrow was going and Legolas and I watched as it hit near the top of his hat.
"Oh, dear me. A wonderful aim, though I hope my hat was not the intended target." he said, pulling the arrow out of his hat and examining it.
"I'm so sorry! I was shooting at the tree behind you, but you walked in the way and-"
The old man cut me off. "Relax, dear girl. In fact, I was looking for you. I wish to have a
word."I frowned in suspicion. Do I know this old man? "Umm..." I trailed off, unsure.
Legolas put a hand on my shoulder and said to the old man "Who are you?"
"I am Gandalf the Grey. A wizard." he answered.
"Gandalf...Gandalf..." I pondered, pinching the bridge of my nose in thought. "Mithrandir?" I finally realized and looked up at him expectantly.
"Yes. That is what the elves call me." Gandalf answered, smiling slightly.
"I'm Allie, Daughter of Lord Elrond. This is Legolas, Thranduilion." I introduced. Gandalf smiled.
Translation: Thranduilion: son of Thranduil
"I know who you are, Allie. I have come to talk to you about something. Something very important." he said. I frowned and noticed Legolas did the same.
"Come now, we can talk under the gazebo." Gandalf offered, motioning to the peaceful thing in the garden.
