All three of them sat down and ate the soup that Yocelyns grandmother had made

"So you're Richard right?" Asked Yocelyns grandma

"Yes ma'am that's me" Richard smiles sweetly at the woman in front of him

"Oh please call me Lily. You know Yocelyn talks a lot about you" Lily said making Yocelyn turn a deep shade of red

"No that's not true." Yocelyn refused

"Of course it is! The other day you said he was a very good looking individual...her words not mine" she said looking at Richard

"Aww nena I didn't know you thought that" Richard smirked

"So when are you two getting married?" That made Yocelyn choke on her soup

"Abuelita why would we do that?!"

"Well he is your boyfriend isn't he?"

"No-"

"Yes! I am we've been dating for about a month now. Isn't that right mi amor?" Richard smirked towards Yocelyn

I'm that moment Yocelyn felt all of her hate towards Richard boil up to the surface. She was going to tell her grandma the truth but she just saw her so happy and she didn't want to take that from her

"Y-yes."

"Oh that's amazing! I never thought she would find anyone!"

Richard and Lily got to know each other more and they actually got along perfectly their personality was literally the same;for a while they even forgot about Yocelyn.

"I think I should be going no Lily but I hope to see you again soon" Richard kissed her cheek and hugged her

"I'd love that Richard I haven't had this much fun in such a long time. Yocelyn why didn't you walk Richard out nena?"

"Ok abuelita"

The two made their way outside making it to the sidewalk in front of Yocelyns house

"Richard what the hell?!"

"Whoa whoa whoa shorty what's your problem?"

"You! You're my problem! Why would you tell my grandma we're dating?!"

"Because you like me!"

"No I don't Richard I hate you!"

"Then why did you agree?"

"Because."

"Because why?" He smirked

"Because I saw how happy it made Abuela Lily and she doesn't have much to be happy for so I didn't want to take that away from her." Yocelyn looked down

"2 months"

"Huh?" Those words made Yocelyn look up

"Give me 2 months to make you fall in love with me and if you don't we stop pretending" Richard proposed

"But what happens if...if I actually f-fall in love with you?"

"Then I." He brought her closer to his body "get to keep you." He smiled looking down at her

"Fine" she agreed

"Now give me a kiss before I leave" He puckered his lips

Yocelyn started to lean in making Richard close his eyes when she was only a few inches away she licked his cheek.

"What the hell?!" Richard shot his eyes open

"You did the same to me remember?" She said as she started walking away eventually reaching her front door

"So that's our thing?"

"I guess so" she smiled. Richard laughed

"See you tomorrow shorty." He said as he turned around to walk away
