That night Richard walked home happily;he thought about Yocelyn. He didn't know what he felt exactly but he wanted to give things a try.
After walking a few blocks he finally made it to the front of his house where his mother waited patiently for him.
"Mijo get in it's cold outside" His mom ordered
"Ok mami" he said as he kissed her cheek and made his way inside to his warm and cozy home.
"Donde esta Yashua?" Richard asked his dad after giving him a hug
"In his room" Richard nodded and made his way to Yashuas' room he didn't bother knocking before going in
"Wassup Yash?" Richard greeted
"Yo. Where were you I didn't see you after school."
"I walked Yocelyn home but her abuela invited me to stay for dinner"
"Yocelyn? Oh! Ain't that the shawty with the big ass?" Yashua asked making Richard laugh
"Yea that's her,all day" he smiled at the thought of her
"So what's up with you and her"
"Fake dating" Richard said as he took a sip out of a cup of juice that was on Yashuas nightstand.
"Fake?"
"Yup. 2 months" Richard said before taking another gulp of juice
"Wow you're crazy"
"The craziest." Richard teased
"Pero,como tu vas aser que ella se enamore de ti?" The younger boy asked
"With my charm of course. And if it don't work I'll just stop messing with her all together." He shrugged
"Are you gunna open up to her or?"
"Nah I don't think so"
"But that shorties different Yashel."
"Yeah. I know"
