Not A Love Marriage But Love After Marriage (COMPLETED)

Chapter 20

Shreshtha's POV  : -

Today is Sunday and we are now having a family time in the lawn. The weather is perfect. Cool breeze of the first week of November is blowing, birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming and sounds of laughter in the air.

We have made a new rule that we will share with others how our week went, what did we do, what are our plans for the coming week etc. To make me feel more connected to the other members of the family mumma and papa tell stories about how they grew up, Armaan's childhood stories etc.

However from today morning something suspicious is going on with Armaan. Not only him but mumma papa too. Usually on Sundays he spends time with us but today he has always been on the phone and that too not in front of me. Whenever he sees me he cuts the call and when I ask him about it he replies by saying that its nothing. I am very worried about it. I just hope everything is alright.

Mumma and Papa has been acting strangely. By strange I mean by smiling creepily. As if they know something that I don't.

Finally I have enough of this and asked them,"Mumma Papa kya chal raha hain ?? Subah se dekh rahi hoon. Armaan hamesha phone par lage rahte hain. Mujhe kuch bolte bhi nahi. Ab toh woh ghar pe bhi nahi hain. Aur aap dono subah se aise smile kar rahe ho jaise ki aap ko kuch pata hai jo mujhe nahi. Bataiyye naa sab thik toh hai naa ?? Business mein sab kuch thik to hai naa ?? Bataiyye naa please ??"

Mumma then smiled at me before she said," Shant hoja meri beti. Sab kuch thik hai. Hum bus aise behave kar rahe hai kyunki aaj Armaan tujhe date pe le jaa raha hai. So aaj shaam 7:00 PM ready hoke rahna okay ??"

To say I was shocked would be the understatement of the century. Armaan is planning to take me to a date !!

" Hh-how wh-why wh-when ?" I stuttered.

Mumma smiled at me and then said," You guys have never gone for a date so Armaan has planned this. Today is Sunday, so you are free and he told us about his plan yesterday. Now go shoo. Get ready. "

My heart warmed at the fact that Armaan has planned this. I am really lucky to have him in my life.

I then went to my room and called Aditi.

"Aditi Emergency !!" I shouted

"Haan haan pata hai. Date pe jaana hai. Lekin tujhe mere eardrums ko kharab karne ki kya zaroorat thi. Main aarahi hoon rukh."

I was dumbfounded. Aditi knew. Oh !! So sabko leke planning chal rahi hai.

15 minutes later Aditi came. I then took a shower and got ready for our date night. Aditi did my makeup and hair. Approximately 25 minutes later I was all set and when Armaan called me and said that he is in the living room waiting.
