"Im going to take a breather real quick. Its getting to hot in here" Seohyun excused herself, stepping out of the dancing crowd and made her way to the front door. Just as she was about to grab the knob, a hand held her back.
"Seohyun?"
And to think she thought this night couldn't get any worse. Sometimes she thinks the gods cursed her. No matter what, every time she seems to be enjoying herself, something always has to ruin it.
"What do you want Hyunjoon"
"Why so salty? I just wanted to catch up."
"Well i dont so bye" she said curtly, opening the door hoping that the man wont follow. But of course, her curse never fails to disappoint.
"Why not?" He asked trailing behind her.
"Because?" She looked at him with a brow raised. "I don't like you."
Hyunjoon scoffed. "Come on, you don't mean that" he flashed his infamous smirk that would have girls chasing him for blocks. Seohyun hates to admit it, but she used to be one of those girls. A quite lucky one as well.
Hyunjoon and Seohyun used to be a thing a year ago, though it didn't last long when she found out he had cheated on her with 2 other girls. And since then, she's hated the fact that she let herself fall for his deceiving charms.
"Think again." She muttered, crossing her arms over her chest. His presence made her beyond uncomfortable.
"You're saying you don't have an atom of feelings left for me? Because I know I do." He stepped closer to her. There he goes again. Using his words to fool her into believing he actually cared. He never did.
"Sounds like a you problem- maybe you should go fix it." Her voice was laced with annoyance. There was no way in hell she was going to fall for his games again.
"You sure about that?" He remained, closing the gap between them slowly. Seohyun reluctantly stepped back but was met with the wall of the house. His hands brushed over her forearm and rested on her waist.
"Get off me before I make sure you wont be able to have children."
"Don't fight it Hyunie"
A pang of nostalgia washed over her upon hearing the name she used to respond by. Oh how she used to desire a different outcome of their relationship. If he had just stayed loyal, she used to dream about how things would've ended up.
