Chapter 16

"Welcome to the final battle of UA high school's sports festival! In just a moment here we'll see which first years will come out on top!"

"Yes, it all comes down to this folks. From the hero course, Todoroki Shoto!"

"Versus, his classmate. Bakugou Katsuki! Now... Begin!"

Todoroki placed his hand on the ground making a big mountain of ice, not as big as it was with Sero, though

"Todoroki starts with a crazy ice blast. Bakugou seems to have been completely buried. Is it possible that we've already got a winner down there?"

Midoriya leaned forward, "This isn't like how he attacked Sero, the ice just now was more controlled. He's being cautious"

Explosions were heard in the ice, getting louder and louder with each one

"What's that terrifying sound?" Mineta asked

"It's gotta be Bakugou, he's making his way out" (Y/n) sighed, 'Is he really scare of some noise....'

The sound got louder and the ice cracked, after another explosion, there was a hole and standing there was Bakugou

"He used his explosions to tunnel through the ice like some kind of maul man!"

"These two are insane!"

Bakugou grabbed onto the front of the ice, "You've got some pretty powerful attacks"

He shot himself forward, "But you have bad aim!"

Todoroki moved himself forward, trying to grab Bakugou with his right side. He used an explosion to move to Todoroki's left side, "Try harder!"

Placing one hand on his left shoulder and the other on his head, Bakugou flipped over him, landing on his feet and then throwing Todoroki over himself, aiming to throw him out if bounds

Todoroki made an ice wave and used it to turn away from the line

"Todoroki serves an ice wave to avoid going out of bounds! Looks like fun"

Todoroki shot a pole of ice at the grenade but he dodged, aiming an explosion to his left side

Peppermint side stepped and used his left arm to grab Bakugou's, small flame licking his arm

Endewhore smirked, "Use your left side. Do it Shoto!"

The flames on Todoroki's arm immediately vanished and he threw Bakugou away

The two landed in a crouched form away from each other, "Stop screwing around" Bakugou slowly stood up, "What? Do you think I'm not worthy of your fire?"

"Bakugou timed his explosions and grabbed Todoroki's left side on purpose.  He's done his research" Mic leaned back to look at Aizawa

"His attitude for this becomes more a parrot with every fight"

"Interesting!"

Aizawa ignored Mic and continued, "Todoroki is doing well so far but his attacks are to simple. It almost seemed like he lost his spark during the match with Midoriya"

Explosions sparked in Bakugou's palms, "You bastard! I'll tell you what would happen if you made a fool out of me. I'll kill you!"

Todoroki flinched, "I don't want there to be any doubt that I'm the best student at the festival. That's only possible if you come at me as hard as you can!"

"There's no point if you don't fight me with the same power you used against Deku! If you don't wanna win this why are you even here?!" Bakugou launched himself at the dual haired boy
