Jonathan Defeated

Chapter 2:

Hazel's POV: 

I tensed up and took a step back, fidgeting with my jeans as I nervously answered,"Um... you should believe me because I'm not lying?" When I said that, I instantly cringed internally. I had meant the sentence as a statement and not a question. I wondered what he would do to me now and if he would believe me.

Jonathan's POV:

This girl, Hazel, felt suspicious and I somehow felt that I had met her before. It was definitely safer to get her as an ally first. Then we could destroy Jace Herondale and his idiotic gang of friends. I smiled superciliously and watched her reaction. Ahh, flirting with mundanes are so fun, watching their faces redden as they tried to hide it from everyone. I never knew what it was like to blush, to be happy, to laugh in the sunlight and bathe in the warmth of it... Mundanes don't know that they were lucky, lucky enough to enjoy their childhood while we Shadowhunters were trained to become killing machines when we were young. 'To love is to destroy, and to be loved, is to be destroyed.' Even though Father had a different way of teaching, I still learnt that.

Hmm, it seemed like the mundane had the Sight and was at least a little affected by my charms. If Father had taught me anything, it was that I could be very charming when I wanted to be. I could make use of the fact that Jace and Clary haven't found out about this girl to use her to infiltrate my little brother's plans and find out invaluable information that could help us win this war and win Clary. Wait. Why wasn't the mundane at least a bit affected by me killing that Mantid demon...And how did she manage to Portal here? She wasn't a warlock, or at least I don't see any warlock mark, but maybe she's more powerful than I thought, if she had a powerful warlock as an ally...

"So, would you like to be my ally and help me win this war?" I asked.

"By the Angel, Yes!! You hate Jace right? I also hate him!! I think that he is arrogant, self-centred, annoying and a jerk!" She replied back rather angrily.

'By the Angel...' I frowned. Only Shadowhunters use that...And I'm pretty sure she's a mundane...So how did she know about Jace and that saying? " How did you know about Jace? You're a Mundane." I asked curiously. "Well, actually, I think, that I'm from an alternate universe. In my world, y'all don't exist. Your 'adventures' were written in books by an author named Cassandra Clare..."She replied hesitantly. 

What?! An Alternate Universe?? Books?? I mean, I knew about Demon Dimensions and how to get there but Alternate Universes?? Those were uncharted waters for me. Hmm... I wonder if there was a way to take over that world too. Then I can gain more power and will finally win Clary over. I need to find out if there was a possible way to Portal to that world... But first, we must defeat Jace Herondale.

"Ok, so, both of us want to destroy Jace. Well, I have a plan..."
