Time skip to when Jonathan gives Hazel his blood:

3rd Person's POV:

Jonathan Morgenstern handed Hazel a vial of what looked like a thick, dark-looking substance. She took it gingerly and took a sip. The liquid tasted foreign and bitter as it slid down her throat. She had to force herself not to vomit as she felt the food in her stomach rise up to the back of the throat. Then, she felt a wave of dizziness pass through her and she tried to find a place to sit. She stumbled and would have fallen if not for the cool hands that belonged to Jonathan, whom then helped her to a chair. She felt overwhelmed and felt the liquid coursing through her veins with every pump of her heart. Hazel felt drowsy and lethargic, her vision slowly blurring out until the only thing that she could see was Jonathan's alarmed face, looking around anxiously while calling for someone to come help her. Then, with another surge of dizziness, even that had faded.

Jonathan's POV:

Hazel had been tossing and turning as she mumbled my name in her sleep before finally settling down. She was poisoned by the toxins in my blood but luckily, her body had accepted it and had adapted. I had left my best friend and second-in-command, Lukas, to look after her and to check her vitals every one hour to make sure she doesn't die. It was a miracle that she had survived and by the time she awakes, her powers should be enhanced and improved and she would be faster and stronger.

Even though Father had failed in trying to inject Greater Demon blood into himself as an attempt to make himself more powerful, however, in Hazel's case, she came from a different universe and her blood is different so she was able to receive the benefits of the demon blood.

Hazel's POV:

I was surrounded by darkness.
It was suffocating me and made me gasp for air. Then suddenly, I was in the middle of a dead world filled with a burning sky and polluted air. The acrid smell of smoke burned my lungs and stung my eyes.
" Hazel, whose side would you choose? " Suddenly, she saw Jonathan standing in front of her and a taller figure standing behind him.
He was lean, but more muscular than Jonathan. He had black hair and piercing green eyes. He drew out a sword and Hazel immediately saw the smirk playing on his face. "He enjoys this" Hazel realised, " He actually enjoys threatening people."
Then, Jace stepped out. He went for her throat and she felt the cold sharpness of a dagger pierce her throat.
Even though she could inflict pain on him, she decided it was too risky and there was a chance that her power would not work. She immediately cried out "Jonathan! I'm on your side! Please, help me!"
Jonathan grinned lazily and gestured for the guy standing next to him.
The guy suddenly appeared at Jace's side, wielding a blade with . He exploded into dust and all that was left was the dagger, lying on the floor. It had a pattern of flying birds on the hilt, and looked like it was made out of silver. When Hazel picked it up, agony shot up her hands; they had started burning.
She tried to cry out but but was not surprised to find out that she was unable to.
When she woke up, she saw the same pair of green eyes staring at her and something snapped...

Lucas's POV:

I watched as the girl, Hazel's, chest rise up and down rhythmically as she slept. She looked so peaceful, with her brown hair billowed out on the pillow, her mouth slightly open with little puffs of air escaping with every breath she took. When Jonathan had asked me to take care of a girl, I had not realised how angelic she was... In fact, she was the very opposite of Jonathan. I got lost in her looks, slowly getting sleepier and sleepier... Suddenly, her eyes shot open, her irises a deep, dark red.
