Previously: "Your eyes, they are-, they are glowing"
3rd Person's POV:
Hazel goggled at him."What do you mean my eyes are glowing?" She asked him, once she had stopped screaming. She dreaded the answer but asked it anyway. He groaned and tried to get onto his feet but they had failed him. He was breathing heavily, almost panting, and looked like he had just ran a marathon. His white-blond hair was matted with sweat and his chest was rising heavily.
"It was glowing red... then I felt this piercing pain in my stomach and head, almost as if there was a drill digging in my head. It was worst than when Fath-What did you do anyway?"
"Um... I think I got frustrated and I had a nervous breakdown...then I think something broke inside me and after that, you were on the floor."
Jonathan's POV:
I can't believe it. That girl, Hazel, actually made me feel pain. She must truly be a force to be reckoned with if she had caused pain to me. Even when Jace Herondale had fought with me, even when Father had whipped me, I had never experienced such pain before. Who is she?? She could not be a mundane, not with that power. She may be a warlock but I see no warlock mark... Also, werewolves and vampires don't have magic...
Hmm... I wonder if adding my blood would enhance her powers? Maybe she's secretly a Shadowhunter... I'm not sure whether to test out if she's a Shadowhunter by drawing a rune on her because, if that goes wrong, she will become Forsaken and I would lose a valuable resource. However, she has the Sight, and can wield weapons relatively well. Giving her my blood is a better choice though, because if she's a Shadowhunter, it could enhance her abilities and instincts if her body accepts the change, and if she's a mundane, it would only poison her and not kill her.
"Ok... I have a suggestion that may help you enhance your powers. Are you willing to try it out?" I asked her.
"Of course!! I'm interested to find out the limits to my powers... like, how many people could I harm, if I could kill people, whether I could activate it on will, and..." At that point, I zoned out. That girl has a sadistic side to her upbeat personality. I smirked and chuckled softly under my breath at the thought of corrupting such a sweet thing like her...
3rd Person's POV:
What Jonathan didn't know was that, the innocent facade she had on unknowingly, to conceal her dark heart and hide her evil intentions, was fooling even him...
