Trapped and lost in a city of silence,
We feel like we don't have much of a presence.
Where secrets are bound to be spoken,
And promises bound to be broken.
Where the shadows darken the eternal night,
The evil ones will be brought to life.
Where the scars of the past never disappear,
All that comes true is what we fear.
The darkness, despair,
The world has turned into an endless nightmare.
The depression, and loneliness too
Overflow my sensations and dim my view.
In this place where tragedy is always looming over our shoulders,
Everyone has long lost their composure.
If we were to reveal the grief within,
The demons once concealed will roam free again.
