My eyes red as the sunlit sky
Fuming with rage, I despise
Those who fill this world
With naught but deceit and lies
Fury within pooling high
Flooding past the boundary line
Blood boiling, lava heat
Wanting to crumble into a sobbing heap
Annoying people making so much sound
When in my mind, it already pounds
Stuck in this noisy cacophony
Wishing to run away, leave it all behind me
Can I just have a moment of peace and quiet
Before I crack and throw a hissy fit
Can I just have a mere moment's reprieve
Take a break and take my leave
Cracks forming on the ice's surface
Currents churning fathoms below
Devoid of a meaningful purpose
Lost, feeling like an empty hollow9/26/2020
