The darkness devours my soul
The world feels oh so cold
Demons eating away at my sanity
Dissipating into the wind is my clarity
As the rage pools high within me
My fury unable to be contained
Severs the lifelong ties
Trapped in a cage of endless pain
Lights fading into the abyss
Nightmares plague my mind
All the people that I miss
Their souls oh so kind
Never again will I meet
Another heart who's also in sync
As the walls start to close in
Overflowing from despair within
My soul drowns in shadow
My heart an empty hollow.
This darkness never known,
This frozen world never shown.
My world tainted, filled with lies,
Faker than any disguise.
They just act and deceive me,
All just to twist what I believe.
The light fades from my eyes
Tired of the things I despise
Darkness surrounds my soul
Ringing in my ears a dead monotone
created these on the fly just to vent a bit
