Tessa Winters
"Love the outfit" I heard a whisper in my ear, it sent a shiver down my spinal cord
"It's just a work uniform" I whispered, I did not mean to, but it was like he took my breath away
"Well, a sexy waitress you are. I might have to stop by later" finally I found my voice
"Are you flirting with me Asher?" I ask turning my head to see him. His face was so close to mine, it was like high school all over again

"Are flirting with me Asher?" I ask moving closer to him
"Maybe" that smirk was everything
"Well, I hope you're not trying to get into my pants again" I ran my finger down his chest
"Nope" he snaked an arm around my waist pulling me closer "Wouldn't dream of it" he kissed my neck and I sunk into his in brace

"Maybe" he smirked and sat back. Just like high school
"Well, I hope you're not doing it just to get into my pants" I bit at him
"Nope" was all he said. I was going to say something else, but Hadley was coming downstairs. I jumped off the stool and walked over to the front door
"Let's go" I say opening the front door, she walked out I followed. I stopped and turned to Asher who was looking at me "See you later" I closed the door and walked to the car
"There was some sexual tension in that room" was Hadley's comment when I pulled out of the drive, my head snapped to Hadley
"What?" I ask before looking back at the road
"There was sexual tension between you and Asher, but it was like you were used to it, it was like, I don't know how to explain it" she rambled "You were comfortable with it, like...."
"He's done it to me before and I'm used to him doing it?" I answer, I froze
'What did I just say? I did not just say that'
"Yeah" after that she kept quiet
The only thing scarier than a person talking about being close to your secret, is when their right on it, but stay quiet. I dropped her off at the school, she said her brother was picking her up. I was driving away, and she watched my car. I watched a sudden realization face spear in my mirror, but I just drove faster
I pulled into the parking lot and got out. I locked my car and headed into work. I just hope she does not say anything to anyone, I hope he does not drop by

'I can't believe it. Maybe I was wrong? How was that possible?' I watched Tessa drive away when I realized something 'She never looked him in the eye, she never wanted to really speak to him. And this morning when I was walking down the stairs it was like she was used to him being so flirty. She even mentioned how he's done it to her before, the flirting'
At the party on Friday, I watched them talk. It was like they were old friends; you could never tell they basically just met. Now I see why, she went to this high school. That girl Asher always talked about, the one that broke his heart five years ago had to be her. I walk into the school and straight for my math class
~ Lunch rolled around, and I headed for the library. I walked in and head for the librarian, she was checking books
"Hello dear, what can I help you with?" She asked in a sweet voice
"I'm looking for high school yearbooks from 2017"
"Yes, last bookshelf in the vary back. Third shelf to the right" she knew where every book was. Crazy
"Thank you" I smile and walked to the back.
I found it right away. I pulled it out and flipped throw the pages, looking for the senior's page. 'Tessa Winters' I kept repeating in my head. I could not find her 'Wait she said she left in her sophomore year' I pulled out the 2015 yearbook, but still did not find her.
"Do you need help?" I jumped and turned to see the librarian
"Yes. I'm looking for a girl named Tessa Winters" I say
"Tessa Winters?" The lady looked deep in thought "There's never been a Tessa Winter here. What's she looks like?"
"Dirty blondish hair and blue eyes" I answer. she put her hand over her mouth
"Tessa Loset, you mean?"
"No Winters" I correct. She took the book I had and flipped throw the sophomore pages before stopping and pointing at a picture of a girl
"Tessa Loset, poor girl" she shook her head. She looked just like Tessa, dirty blonde hair and blue eyes
"What happened?" I ask to look up
"She used to come to this library every day at lunch. She hid from the world in the books. She hung out with two other kids. June Arriens and Asher Black"
