Lauren POV
I was dressed in a white crop top and some light high wasted jeans putting on my shoes
Getting ready to go school shopping with the girls they said Camila would be there but I doubt it she told me she would be working out With someone named Derek
I didn't mind really since she had completely lost her beautiful six pack
I got a text from Dinah saying they were outside I grabbed my purse and went downstairs where I was met with my parents kissing
"I'm going to go shopping with the girl" I told them
"Be safe" my dad said breaking the kiss between the two
I left trying to get out of there as fast as possible
I seen they were in Dinahs white Range Rover
I hop in the back seat next to ally and Elena on the far right laving Dinah and Normani in the front
"Hey Lauren" Dinah said as I got in the car
"What's up D" I told her putting on my seatbelt
"You ready for the mall" Normani asked excited
"Yes can't wait" I said giving her a smile but of course no Camila
We got to the mall and split up since we all have different clothing style I was currently with Elena
I was looking through the many shirts this store had till I heard Elena ask "where's Camila"
"why would I know that" I asked her
"Why wouldn't you ,you guys are basically best friends" she added and I thought about it for a second why was Elena asking me where she was
"Well if you must know she told me she was working out with her friend Derek I think his name was" I told her now moving towards the pants as she trails behind me with a chuckled witch made me stop in my tracks
"What so funny" I asked her
"That you think she is working out with Derek" she said
"And why do you think you know everything about Camila" I asked feeling my blood boil
"Look I know more about Camila then you ever will" she said making me chuckle
"What do you know about her that I don't" I asked calling her bluff
"Well we can start with she is not working out with Derek he has never worked out a day in his life she is actually at my house probably getting high till she can't walk no more"
she told me making my blood boil once more because if she was right then that means Camila had been lying this whole time about being clean
"Why would she be getting high at you house" I asked because it just doesn't make sense
"Because Derek is my brother's best friend and Derek is Camila's so they hang out a lot" she told me I honestly wasn't even mad anymore I knew she was lying "Camila is clean" I said simply and started to walk to the cash register to pay for my clothing
"Do you really believe that Lauren" she asked me
"Yeah I do, you don't have any proof for all I know you can be spilling nothing but lies to me"I told her
"I know that you and her had a thing while you were with Jackson, I know that her mom died, I remember the exact day she started using the drug" she said making me turn around and grab her arm
"How do you know all that smart ass" I asked her genuinely curious
"I was there Lauren I was there the first time she used the drug I told her not to but why would she listen to me she told my brother the reason's for wanting the drug after they all got high they went to party downstairs I was the one that dragged her up the stairs when she passed out in the back yard of my house and where were you" she told me making me let go of her arm and walked towards the other girls
Camila POV
I was at Gabe's with Derek getting high till Derek ditched us for a girl
It was just Gabe and I we got high again and again after Derek left and honestly I felt like I couldn't keep up with him
I came here only wanting to take half since I was suppose to hang out with the girls but my mind totally slipped as I kept getting more and more high
It was getting late so I told Gabe "hey I'm going to head out" I got out I could tell I had a little to much when I stood up almost falling over but caught my balance
"You good little c want me to take you" he asked now standing also
"No I got it thank you thought Gabe I'll see you" I told him walking out his house and hoping on my bike driving home
Lauren POV
I was on my way to Camila's since she hasn't text or called all day and she hasn't did that for awhile I felt something was wrong
When I arrived at Camila's her bike was not in the drive way but her fathers car was surprisingly
I got out my car thinking about all the things Elena said thinking she might be right and if she was then that means I made Camila like this it was my fault she was hurting and me leaving just pushed her over the edge
I went and knocked on the door Camilas dad opens the door
"Hey Lauren what brings you here" he asked
"Hi mr.cabello is Camila here" i asked him
"Well she isn't here right now but you can come in and wait for her" he said opening the door letting me into their small
Home
"I'm going to clean up my work then you can take a seat at the table" he told me organizing his papers
"I can help you" I told him helping him organize his work papers
We were nearly finished till we heard a loud knock on the door
"Can you get that for me" he asked putting the rest of his papers away into his bag
"Yeah" I replied with walking towards the door hearing an other knock
I open the door and in comes Camila looking awful and lost she walked in stumbling I try and catch her to sit her down on one of the chairs
Camila dad then runs up to her grabbing her face in his hand asking her what was wrong of what she took but no answer
"She is on drugs" I told him lifting up her sleeve to show him
If I can't help her then mabey her dad can I thought
He let go of her examining the marks on her arm
"Alright thank you Lauren" he told me picking up Camila in his arms taking her upstairs I guess that was my cue to leave
I got in my car and just cried for the girl I loved she was in pain and I didn't realize it till it was to late
