Lilly's POV

I woke up the next morning as the sun shined through the balcony in my face. Looking beside me I found a note in Jasper's place.

Darlin',

Sorry I couldn't get up with you this morning, Alice had a vision that it was going to be sunny today so I had to leave before sunrise. I promise to see you later today though. If anyone asks, Carlisle pulled us out for hiking, love you so much darlin'!

Love, Jasper

Smiling disappointedly at the note I shrugged it off in understanding and got ready for the day before grabbing a quick breakfast, and headed to school. To say the least, school was really boring without the Cullen's. I did however hang out with Bella, she kept me sane from Jessica's constant bitchiness all day.

Speaking of which, it's last period which we all decided to ditch to enjoy the sun. Bella was looking around as Jessica was leaned back across the table, soaking in the sun as I tried to get homework done.

"They're not here." Jessica told Bella. "Whenever the weathers nice the Cullen's disappear."

"What, do they just ditch?" Bella asked.

"No, Jasper told me Carlisle pulled them all out today for hiking." I told Bella.

"I tried that with my parents, not even close." Jessica sighed.

"Guys! I'm going to the prom with Eric!" Angela said excitedly as she sat down. "I just asked him and took control."

"We told you that would happen." Bella said as Angela hugged Bella and I.

"Are you sure you have to go out of town?" Angela asked Bella.

"Oh yeah, it's a family thing." Bella lies, but they didn't know that.

"How about you, Lil?" Angela asked. "Are you sure your not going to prom?"

"I don't know. I mean, yes Jasper and I are dating, but he never asked me yet." I shrugged.

"Well, I mean, if he doesn't ask you, you could still come, hang out with us." Angela offered. "Right, Jess?"

"Yeah, whatever, sure." Jessica mumbled causing me to roll my eyes.

"I mean, it won't hurt I guess." I reluctantly nodded, not wanting to tell Angela no.

"Okay, we should go shopping in Port Angeles before all the good dresses get cleaned out." Jessica told Angela and I.

"Port Angeles? Mind if I come?" Bella asked.

"Yeah, I need your opinion." Angela stated which I nodded to in agreement.

That's when the final bell rang, letting us leave. Bella and I rode in my car, while Angela rode with Jessica. Bella and I the whole way there were singing, and laughing as we belched out lyrics to our favorite pop songs. This is definitely the side of Bella that nobody sees but me, I guess. We've become so close since we moved here.

Once we arrive we tried on all sorts of dresses, but none really stuck out to me yet.

"Lilly, what do you think? Is this good?" Angela asked. "Is Lavender my color?"

"Absolutely!" I smiled.

Jessica then rushes out of the dressing room with a dress that shows way too much cleavage.

"Okay, I like this one." Jessica stated. "It makes my boobs look good."

That's when a group of guys walking by knocked on the window, getting our attention. "Nice!" They yelled through the window, making me want to puke. I flipped one off that I caught winking at me before they left.
