Enjoy!

"ALY! THAT'S SO UNFAIR!" I yelled.

Aly snorted.

"As if, sore loser." She sang, booping my nose.

I glared at her.

"I've been playing Mario my whole life and you beat me?! My masculinity... My pride..." I joked, miming choking.

She rolled her eyes, leaned over and kissed my cheek.

"Cheer up, it's just Mario Kart."

I grumbled silently.

She saw the sour look on my face and burst out laughing.

Her laughter is like a song, so light airy and contagious.

I found myself laughing along with her.

She was gasping for air, and had to lie down on the designer couch.

"Everything alright in there?" Alec's voice nervously called out.

"Yeah, sorry for bothering you!" I shouted back.

Aly rolled over again, able to breathe.

She looked around the gaming room again.

"I love our new house..." She said for the billionth time.

Alec was now a very successful actor.

He had a lot of money and soon moved into this amazing house with 10+ bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, heated flooring, an indoor pool, gaming room, 3 living rooms, a large garden, a dance studio and so much more.

Aly looked around dreamily.

"Oh, how our life changed..." She whispered, meaning for me to not hear but I did anyways.

I pretended not to of heard what she said.

She had a hard time opening up about her past.

She told me her parents got into physical fights and threw alcohol bottles at eachother.

Growing up, she always stepped on glass shards, no matter how much Alec cleaned.

She doesn't talk much about it and I don't plan to ask her.

She leaned her head on my shoulder.

"I'm glad I get to share it with you~"

I ran my fingers through her hair.

"I am too." I whispered into her thick black hair.

We stayed like that for a while.

Aly eventually got up to get dressed for dance, I was already dressed.

My phone rang.

"Yeah, bro?" I cautiously greeted.

I heard a muffled scoff.

"Where are you?" Kyran demanded.

"At Alys'..." I answered.

I heard a sigh of relief.

Click.

He put the phone down.

I reminisced on the times I always bothered him.

Good times.

Now he just has a case after case.

Kyran studied law after highschool.

He's now a very very successful attorney.

(Or lawyer, whatever you call it.)

I'm happy for him, of course.
