Theodora Pleasant was sat at the breakfast table next to her younger brother Tomas, slowly eating her cereal when her father walked into the kitchen clutching that mornings newspaper. Every morning her father would read the newest copy of the daily punctilio and sometimes Theo liked to read it over his shoulder. But most of the time the stories were just nonsense.
"Such a terrible thing." Her father stated, snapping Theo out of her thoughts as her mother gasped peering over her husbands shoulder to look at the paper. He shook his head and placed the paper down on the table before kissing his wife and children goodbye and heading to work. Theo and Tomas instantly grabbed the newspaper to see what was so terrible, and there it was, in big bold lettering.
