Obsession

CHAPTER 16

One week after my Stalker has been caught and I still had that niggling feeling that something wasn't right.
Gray was trying to be as understanding as he could, but I knew he couldn't help me.

I decided to visit my doctor this morning to talk about my situation and he prescribed me some medication to ease my mind. He recommended that I take them but I don't know.

"I think you should take them, you've been through a lot.
It will help you relax..Help ease your mind."Imogen said, placing her hand on mine from her place beside me on the couch.

"It's up to yourself."Markus added.

I shrugged my shoulders lightly."I just don't want to be that person who needs medication to feel normal.
But if i need to then I will."

"What you're feeling right now is very normal."Markus crossed the room and handed me a hot coffee cup. "Honestly, I think it would be a little worrying if you weren't on edge still."

"I guess."I sipped my coffee and rested my head back on Imogen's
comfortable fabric couch.
We thought we'd have a little catch up today since all of us were available.

"So how's Gray?"Imogen asked.

"He's good.We're having dinner together at my place tonight."
I sighed,"He's working now so I don't get to see him as much as I would like."

Markus sat down on the armchair  across from me."Well the man has to work, he doesn't need to protect you from anything anymore."

Hmm,What about my own crazy mind?I thought, but decided not to say.
I don't want to be the girl that keeps moaning about her life..I've been doing it enough the last couple of months.

"How are thing's with Deon now you're doing long distance?"I asked, hoping to take the attention off myself.

"Well technically we're not actually in a relationship, but I hope we can figure that one out next weekend."
Imogem looked at me with a sly smile, making me wonder what she was up to.

I chuckled."What does Imogen want?"

"Well I was hoping that you would come out with us next Saturday night..Maybe have a little talk with Deon and find out how he feels about me?"

Markus scoffed."Maybe you could just ask the guy that yourself, you are supposed to be dating him after all?"

Imogen glared at him."Hush you!!"
She looked back at me waiting for an answer.

"Out where exactly?"

She grinned."A new nightclub called Hexagon, it's supposed to be amazing.
I think it'll be a really fun night out, something we haven't done in quite awhile."

I sighed."I don't know if I want to go to a nightclub.
Too much noise and too much standing, we can never find seats."

"Oh, Please!!Just an hour, I swear.Then you can go home with your lovely man."

Of course she was doing her Imogen thing and batting her fake eyelashes at me.
I suppose an hour,quick chat with Deon will be enough to please her.

"Alright, But just for an hour!"

She grinned."That's good enough for me, it'll be fun."
She set her sights on Markus."You know you're coming too, Right?"

Markus clicked his tongue off the roof of his mouth."I wouldn't dare think you would let me away with going."

"Yess, All five of us!!"

I'll have to speak to Gray first and find out if he will even be up for going out.
He doesn't even drink, I'm sure it'll be boring for him.
