Epilogue

"But what had happened? When did I come here? Who brought me here? I was in the jungle with my friends, my whole body is paining," Aman asked and Roshni recalled everything worriedly. "Aman you are tired, just now they went, you should rest," she said and was about to go. "They? Who are they? Who are you talking about?" he asked. "No one, you rest, I will go and make something delicious for you," she said and stood up, he held her wrist and pulled her on the bed. "At this hour? Roshni I don't need anything besides answers," he said.

She got teary eyed and turned her face. He took her palm and placed it on his head, she looked at him creasing his eyebrows. "Tumhein meri kasam, bolo kya sach hai Roshni," he said and she let her tears fall. "You came to my house some days ago to meet me, and then some time later, we even confessed our love to each other, before that, many untoward situations occured, I always saw a vivid dream of someone trying to get intimate with me, and it stopped shortly after we confessed, I even saw a strange sentence on the mirror written in the fog that you have a lovely voice, I even told you but you denied that you never wrote this," she said and sobbed.

He was listening all this in a shock. "After a day or two, a girl Mohini too came who you claimed to be your college friend, I could read your thoughts, and when I lost my patience, I called Raatri, she told me you're possessed by a Jinn Ayaan who you killed, and Mohini is his jinni, after that I told Ayaan thinking him to be you to kick her out of here," she told.

Flashback :

She opened her door and Aman stood there. "Tum? Abhi jao yaheen se niklo, mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni," (you? Get lost from here, I don't want to talk to you) Roshni said and tried to go past him  but he held her wrist. "Roshni meri baat toh suno, hua kya hai?" (Listen what has happened?) he asked and her eyes welled up with tears.

"Hua kya hai? Mere jeeju ne tumse kaha k tumhe pehle hi introduce karna chahiye toh tum ne kya socha? K bas kya bataun? Mohini ko dekh kar kuchh yaad nahi rehta?" (What has happened? When my brother in law said that you should've introduced before itself then what did you think? That what to tell? I forget everything seeing Mohini?) She asked and he got shocked. "Main aisa kiun sochun ga? Tum ho meri honay wali patni, na ke vo Mohini," (why will I think like that? You're my to be wife and not Mohini) he said and she got angry. "Toh uss Mohini ko abhi isi waqt bahar nikaalo, nahi toh phir mujhe bhool jao," (so then kick her out of the house right now, else forget me) she said and closed the door on his face before he could say anything.

"I don't know what happened in loneliness between you.. I mean Ayaan and her, I was successful in making her out but," she was cut in between. "I got to remember now," he said thoughtfully.

Flashback:

Aman as Ayaan pulled Mohini to her room and closed the door behind her. "What the hell happened Ayaan? Why did you pull me in the room like this? What if someone might have seen it or would've seen it? Are you out of your mind?" Mohini said angrily. "Quiet! First listen to me, Roshni could read my mind earlier on the dining table when I thought that 'Bas Kya karoon Mohini ko dekh kar sab bhool jata hoon,' ab kya karein hum? Usay toh hum par shak hogaya, itna hi nahi, usne kaha ke Mohini ko ghar se bahar nikaalo nahi toh mujhe bhool jao," (now what to do? She doubts us, not only that, she asked me to kick you out of the house else forget about her) he told her.

"Uski itni himmat? Usay toh chhorun gi nahi main," (how dare she? I won't spare her) Mohini said angrily and was about to go outside but he stopped her. "Mohini! Don't you dare! I came here to seek help from you and to get some solution, but you're going to increase the problem by talking to Roshni?" He said getting irritated. "So what should I do? This increased distance can't be tolerated by me anymore, I will finish that Roshni right now," she said and again tried to go but he pulled her back. "Mohini josh mein hosh mat kho baitho, calm down for God's sake," (don't lose your senses in excitement) he said and she closed her eyes and sat on the bed.

He too calmed down and sat beside her. "Mohini, mujhe kuchh samajh nahi araha ke.. mera ye power uske pas gaya kaisay? Pehle main logo'n ke dimaag parhta tha lekin ab mera ye power mera nahi raha uss Roshni ka hogaya, kya tumhe pata hai ke ye sab hua kaise hoga?" (Mohini I don't understand that how this power of mine went to her? First I used to read people's minds but now this power of mine isn't mine anymore but of Roshni, do you know how all this would've happened?) he asked keeping her hand above her hand. "Sab bataun gi, lekin please kuchh der k liye iska jism chhoro or apni asli shakal mein aao, mujhe aisa toh lagay ke main kisi gair se nahi kisi apnay se baat kar rahi hoon," (will tell everythingz but first leave his body and come in your true form, I should feel that I m talking to someone dear and not a stranger) she said and he left Aman's body temporarily.

"Uske baad nahi yaad," Aman said. "Hmm, after she went, Raatri came," she said and shrugged.  "Then I myself challenged Ayaan that I know he's a Jinn, that day only I went to beg him to leave you, but he took back his powers and together he and Mohini threw me from the window, but I got saved with the help of a Jinn and Ayaana, after I got saved Ayaan told me what you did, but Aman, now you're safe," she said and smiled and hugged him. He got sad while hugging her back.

"I have hurt you a lot Roshni, sorry that everything was fake, sorry that every moment was fake, sorry that you got troubled because of me," he said. "Aman please, you're innocent, that wasn't you, please don't blame yourself, important is that they went," she said. "I love you Roshni," he said and smiled. "I love you too Aman," she replied. Later in morning, both were sleeping with just a bedsheet to cover them. Aman woke up in morning due to the moments he spent with Roshni unknowingly, haunting him.

He sat up and wiped the sweat on his face because of the dreams. He got off the bed and wore his clothes and went from the house, Supriya saw him leaving. "Where's he going at this time?" she said to herself. Roshni woke up after sometime and didn't find Aman, she got dressed and opened the washroom door only to find the washroom empty. "Maybe he's outside," she said to herself and freshened up and walked out of the room only to find him nowhere to be seen. Supriya came to her. "Roshni, I just saw Aman walking out of the house, is everything okay? Did you both fight?" she asked. "Not at all," she said and recalled his words. "I have hurt you a lot Roshni, sorry that everything was fake, sorry that every moment was fake, sorry that you got troubled because of me," he said.

"Di I need to go," she said and without waiting for an answer rushed outside. "Now where to find Aman?" she said to herself and looked around and saw him walking aimlessly. She ran to him and held his arm by her hands and pulled him aside. "Aman! What's this yaar? You don't need to feel guilty about whatever happened, you were at fault, but now your actions can't be reversed, you can't make them alive," she said. "That is what makes me guilty, I am a murderer, and I deserve to die, I promise to be a good partner in next life," he said and she palmed his mouth as tears blurred her vision. "Agla janam kisne dekha? We will do what we want to do in this lifetime only," she said and they shared a hug. They walked back home after sometime and Roshni read the message of Adrika that now the spirits are where they should be. After one week they married and had a baby girl Avi.
