XII. Fed Up

28 14 22

Incessant mockeries
Continues disrespectful and
Despiseful glares of disapproval.
Getting used to being
Underlooked.

Despised because of my skin,
Disapproved of because of my background,
Underlooked because of my height.

Once upon a time
I begged,
Begged for approval
Begged for respect
Begged for acceptance,
Begged for love.

That time is passed.
A new era has begun.

I love the new me
I love everything about her.
Self-love, self-respect, self-upliftment call it what you want.
I give room to no despicable
Act of discrimination no more.
I've had enough,
Fed up.
